Pangalactic Entertainment has launched a Kickstarter campaign in order to fund Planet Defiant: Onslaught of Vanas, their new horror/sci-fi survival board game.
No word on if you get a recipe for their Gargleblaster drink.

From the campaign:

Planet Defiant: Onslaught of Vanas is a cooperative sci-fi horror board game set in the far future where rare humans are capable of extraordinary feats due to technology and genetic manipulations. Earth is severely overpopulated and is searching for habitable planets to live on. With time being a factor several military groups are sent to far reaching ends of the galaxy to search for these planets. One such group comes upon a promising planet only to end up crash landing on the planet. After emerging from the wreckage they find the first alien race humanity has ever encountered but these creatures were not what they were hoping for and now they are in for the fight of their lives just to escape the planet.

Hmm. I like the concept. I hope this goes somewhere as this has “small but dedicated team/company” written all over it.

Well, we are definitely small and I would like to think we are dedicated. I can’t believe we actually got an article on Tabletop Gaming News! Also here’s tje link on our Gargleblaster recipe:

    1 part Booker’s Bourbon

1 part Bacardi 151 (for color)

    1 part gin

2 parts Bacardi Citron (for for flavor)

    4 squirts of soda water

1 TSP of sea water (or water mixed with sea salt)

1 part Bacardi 151 (for color)

    1 part Goldschlager (for…GOLD!)

1/4 Alka-Seltzer (for the dissolving tooth)

    3 Ice cubes

    And drop in an olive!

That’s the way we do it in the office!

This is one I’ll be following, but seriously, the recipe needs bitters. Otherwise, it’s just gross.

    • grimbergen

anything with Goldschlager is gross… bitters won’t help…

  • I thought it looked like an interesting game, but I await to see how things turn out- I want to see more of the board and how the players interact.

You’ll like our update tonight, Varagon. I’m working hard to get it out at soon as possible!
