It’s never good when a cult leader moves into town. Things start getting weird. Dark magic starts to take over, and mutations and various corruptions start manifesting in the populace. What that town needs is some heroes to come in and save the day. That’s just what you’ll be doing in Panda Cult Games’ board game Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay. They’ve posted up a look at the box art, as well as a short video showing off some of the enemy miniature sculpts.
About the game:
Barnacle Bay was once a peaceful fisherman’s village until the evil cult leader Elder Bane took over the town. Elder Bane has used his dark magic to corrupt and mutate the inhabitants of the city. The once loyal bear guards have been turned into berserking bear-sharks. The otter fisherman have become crazed crab armed otter hybrids. The monks of the local church have turned into tentacle bunny zealots. And the bat cultists have mutated into fish-bat casters! It is up to the heroes of The Wanderer’s Guild to save Barnacle Bay and bring peace to the village. Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay is a co-op, fantasy, dungeon crawl, miniatures board game for 1-5 players. Players play as heroes from The Wanderer’s Guild working together to against the AI of the board game. Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay features a choose your own adventure campaign system with over 20 scenarios available in the game, allowing players to play through a campaign multiple times with a unique experience each time. Level up your heroes, and gain loot to get to the final showdown against Elder Bane!
