Painted Dark Age Outcasts Mongo charity auction for Cystic Fibrosis up on eBay
SchnauzerFaceMinis painted up a very nice Dark Age Outcasts Mongo model and has put it up on eBay in order to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
From the campaign:
Thank you for checking out this auction! This is Mongo, from the Outcasts faction in the Dark Age tabletop miniatures game. Dark Age is a post-apocalyptic game from Cool Mini or Not. He is mounted on a huge piece of cork, though I will include his round-lip 50mm base, as well as his stat card. If you want to game with him, simply glue the base to the bottom of the cork. If he’s for display, he stands up just fine on his own. And if you are going to use him as a proxy for another tabletop game, you can easily attach the proper base to the bottom of the cork.
This model is being auctioned to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and 100% of the final sale will go directly to this nonprofit. Cystic Fibrosis is a debilitating disease, and CF sufferers need our support. Until recently, I didn’t know much about this disease. If you are like me, consider Googling Cystic Fibrosis to learn about the constant struggles that a CFer must endure. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is an approved nonprofit on eBay’s “Giving Works,” and they have a spotless reputation. It’s a fantastic nonprofit supporting a needy cause.
I know everything is listed as “Pro-Painted” on eBay, so I’m not even going to throw around cliches. However, I think this model looks pretty good. You can also watch a tutorial demonstrating how I painted this model on my YouTube Channel, “SchnauzerFaceMinis.” If you play Outcasts, I think he’ll be a nice, eye-catching part of your army.
Thank you so much for checking out this auction. If this model doesn’t strike your fancy, that’s OK! I have other auctions benefitting various charities. And, consider taking a moment to learn more about CF and other ways you can help fight this disease.
Thank you so much!
There’s also a video of the model being painted that you can see here on YouTube.
