Brigade Models have posted rules for their Neo-Soviet vehicles for Future War Commander and Iron Cow.

    From their website:

Our Neo-Soviet range is our first foray into 6mm tracked vehicles. We think you’ll agree that they have a very near-future ‘Russian’ feel to them, with heavy tracks, side-skirts and above all else, big guns.

Being new, the Neo-Sovs don’t feature in either the Iron Cow or Future War Commander rulebooks. Experimental Iron Cow stats can be found in our Gaming Pages. While, you can find an unofficial FWC PDF (PDF link).

Specialist Military Publishing have added the first pages for their WWII 6th Panzer Division project. The project will contain histories, TOEs and other details about the 6th Panzer Division during WWII.

    From their website:

The 6th Panzer Division was one of the key armoured divisions of the German Army during the Second World War. These web pages will eventually provide a comprehensive combat history of the division during the campaign against the Soviet Union from 22nd June 1941 until 7th May 1945. Key battles will be fought on the wargames table using the Blitzkrieg Commander rules and reports of each battle will be made available on the site. Each battle will be compared to the actual events that took place so that we might gain some insight into the way history is shaped by events on the battlefield.

Privateer Press have posted a preview of the Menoth Warcaster Vice Scrutator Vindictus.

    From their website:

No Menite alive is as concerned for the fate of heathen souls as Vice Scrutator Vindictus. Where others among the Protectorate see only a faceless sea of heretics, Vindictus sees potential devotees of the True Faith. Where others preach with words, Vindictus communicates with agony. The holy zealots who follow this unforgiving priest fight with the strength of fanatics and martyrs, adding to their own numbers with each strike. Vindictus travels far from the Protectorate’s borders, raising armies loyal to the Lawbringer and turning them against any of their countrymen foolish enough to resist the will of Menoth.

Vice Scrutator Vindictus comes in a blister (PIP 32063). A player may field one Vice Scrutator Vindictus in his Protectorate of Menoth army.

A new Victory By An Means second edition preview has been posted. This new preview looks at star system creation in the space combat campaign system.

    From their website:

Welcome to this third (and much belated) installment of the VBAM Second Edition preview series. The last few weeks have been busy ones for me, both personally and professionally. It is obviously “that time of year again,” during which we find ourselves pulled in a hundred different directions. Despite all of this, work on 2E has continued to move forward. I am at the awkward stage of development at which every minor change, clarification, or restructuring creates a cascade effect requiring that other sections of the rules be updated to reflect these new modifications. It is for that reason that I have held off until now to release additional playtest materials for review. I wanted to make sure that as much of the materials were ready for review as possible before placing them out there for public scrutiny.

Rackham Entertainment have posted some details of their planned 2010 releases for AT-43 and Confrontation.

    From their website:

The second half of 2009 has been a busy one for Rackham Entertainment since it allowed us to introduce our new Army Boxes and to release two new armies for AT–43 (the Cog clones and the mercenary ONI) as well as for Confrontation: The Age of Rag’narok (the knights of the Lion and the undead of the Ram). We’re happy to announce that 2010 will be a step further in that direction.

A new army is planned for each game. The powerful and sturdy Krygs will join the AT–43 universe at the start of the second half of 2010. By the end of the year, the first elven army will enter the battlefields of the Rag’narok! Each of these armies will be introduced by an Army Box with a ready-to-play army, and an Army Book detailing the army. Other items will follow and allow you to develop and adapt the force within the Army Box.

In the same time, two existing armies for each game will receive their own Army Box, offering the perfect first buy for new players. But these boxes will be interesting for existing players as well, since we will use them to add unreleased or out of stock miniatures. Karmans will be doing the honours for AT–43 in the second term, with the UNA close behind them. Confrontation: The Age of Rag’narok will have the creatures of the Scorpion in the third term and then the templars of the Griffin.

All the while, Unit and Hero boxes will of course be released to reinforce the newest armies.

Specialist Military Publishing have added a page to their website detailing their BlitzkriegCommander II release schedule.
    ?From their website:

I took delivery of the books on Monday morning (21st December) and managed to get a handful of them in the post before trekking off to work for the day. The journey home was a nightmare due to the recent snowfall and the resultant gridlock on the roads – it took me two and a half hours instead of the usual 30 minutes. The evening was spent sorting out the web site, which took until after midnight. That’s the sob story out of the way.

Now the plan is to get the remaining pre-orders stuffed into envelopes and stamped-up as soon as I can, but due to the time of year (the book was never meant to be a christmas release) I’m going to hold back sending the rest of the books until Tuesday 29th December

Khurasan Miniatures have released new 15mm Penguin fantasy miniatures, the Armies of the Penguish Civil Wars.

    mys500.jpg

    From their website:

These are 15mm-scale penguins (they are approximately 8mm tall), who, being now civilized, have seen fit to form themselves up in Regiments of Flippere (24 shotte with snowballes, 11 doughty pikemen with icicles, and one standardbearere with squid on icicle standard) or Regiments of Seale (ten fierce leopard seales, eighteen carefree, impetuous cavalieres with snowballes, plus a high commander and a standardbearere). Snowballers shoot at the enemy, the Regiments of Seals are (relatively) fast moving as the creatures glide along on the ice, attempting to bowl over the enemy, although the staunch icicle men will poke at the seales and attempt to turn them aside.

Otherworld Miniatures have posted a new photo of their upcoming 28mm Lizardmen Warriors. These will be released on January 20th.

    Lizardmen

    Lizardmen

    From their website:

This is our first pair of Lizardman Warriors. They measure 27mm and 29mm from ground to eye (but they would stand around 35mm tall if standing straight). They are multi-part castings, so some assembly will be required, and they are supplied with 25mm square plastic bases. Further head and weapon variants will be produced soon, as will a Lizard King figure. The pictures show the sculptor’s master models.
