Show of hands who here would like to be a superhero or supervillain. *watches pretty much everyone raise their hands* Of course, the chances of a science experiment giving us super powers, or that some sort of alien technology will land in our lap, or that we’ll become multi-billionaires and thus able to create our own super-suits are exceedingly small. So let’s just stick with living vicariously through gaming. Originz gives you that opportunity. It’s a new card game up on Kickstarter.
In the game, players take on the roles of superheroes or supervillains and do battle against one-another. You can either use the pre-generated decks of powers or build your own. The different powers are things like Plant Control, Insect Mutation, Weather Control, Super Strength, and such like that. Each Power card costs a certain amount of Energy to play. The more energy, the more powerful the card. The object of the game is to force your opponent to run out of cards in their deck and hand. If you can do that, you win.
The Kickstarter campaign is up and running now. They’re closing in on 50% funded with still 29 days to go.
