Was the whole steampunk warjack thing already part of the game concept, or is this a new direction? I recall the other minis being more traditional historic, in as much as anthropomorphic animals can be.

    • Yes, this was always in the fluff/Rulebook, we just had to wait until we had the right sculptor for the job (in this case it’s Bob Naismith).

These are Gerbil created suits to fight Russian Bears, the character for the unit (later this year) is based on Gotz of the Iron Hand.

Nice. One of these days when I have money like a real person again, I am really looking forward to throwing some of it at you.

I remember a brilliant Chaos sorcerer that Bob Naismith did ages ago. It’s hard to remember what else as I always get him confused with Michael Nesmith of the Monkeys.

        • He has worked on a ton of stuff, Mantic’s Dwarves and Undead are some of the more recent well known sculpts. He is a great guy to work with, one of my favorite folks to deal with, so you’ll likely see a lot of his work in Brushfire.

And Endless, since that’s like 90% his sculpts atm.

Sounds great. Mantic’s ghouls and zombies are sweet.
