Duplex Feature

Warlord Games helps you Allies players invade Europe with the release of their Sherman V Duplex Drive tank. Built to float using retractable screens, the tanks had propellers to help move them through the water. Part of “Hobart’s Funnies,” named after Major General Hobart and the fact that they were sort of a funny design, they were meant to help during the invasion of Europe by the Allies.
And now they can be part of your Bolt Action games.

From the release:

Duplex Drive or DD tanks, (nicknamed “Donald Duck tanks”) were a type of amphibious swimming tank developed by the British during the Second World War.

DD tanks worked by erecting a ‘flotation screen’ around the tank, which enabled it to float, and had a propeller powered by the tank’s engine to drive it in the water.

The DD tanks were one of the many specialised assault vehicles, collectively known as Hobart’s Funnies after their commander, Major General Percy Hobart, devised to support the planned invasion of Europe.
