Privateer Press has their latest releases now available in their webshop. There’s something old, something new, and something blue…. Not really sure if they’ve got anything that’s borrowed. I guess that’s up to interpretation. Anyway, if you’re a Khador, Cryx, or Circle player, or a fan of their No Quarter magazine, you’ll be happy with these releases.
If you don’t play those factions, well… there’ll be some new stuff to beat up over on the other side of the table.
In the “New” category, we’ve got Ruin (a new character warjack for Khador) and Brennos the Elderhorn (a new warlock for Circle). The interesting connection between the two (if you can call it that) is that Ruin’s obviously had several run-ins with Circle, since it’s got a Warp Wolf pelt slung over its shoulder as decoration. I’m sure that Brennos doesn’t find that very amusing, but the old goat that he is (literally) I’m sure means he doesn’t have much of a sense of humor anyway.
In the “Old” category, we’ve got a “super starter box” for both Circle and Cryx. These sets are more than just the “Warjack and Warcaster” or “Warlock and Warbeasts” of the regular starters, but really throw you into the deep end with all the figures you get. It’s a whole real starter army. Otherwise, there’s two unit boxes, the Revenant Crew and the Wolves of Orboros, that are consolidations of those units into one purchase. So you get the unit and attachments all at once.
Last, but not least, is the 10th Anniversary Issue of No Quarter. In this issue, we get a big history piece on Vinter Raelthorne, a truly super-colossal-gargantuan battle report, Matt DiPietro’s painting and modeling tips, and a look at cosplaying. All that and more.
