New No-Glue-Required 40k Sets Available To Order From Games Workshop

Pretty much every veteran gamer has stories about when they were new to the hobby and had their first nasty run-in with superglue. I was assembling a pewter Carnifex while still also trying to use it in a game. I was using too much glue, not letting it set properly, and, of course, it was a disaster. Well, Games Workshop looks to be taking a line from Bandai and is releasing several sets for both Marines and Chaos that don’t require any glue at all.

From the post:

Designed to be as easy as possible to assemble for new hobbyists while being detailed enough for the hardiest veteran to appreciate, this is a set of 3 Easy To Build Space Marines Primaris Aggressors. Push-fit, with no glue required, these are incredibly straightforward to put together, and come on pre-coloured blue plastic sprues.

How can we just gloss over the return of Citadel Combat Cards!

I think that was the first GW game I played (and somehow it didn’t put me off of their other games).

That’d be like doing a reprint of Fantasy Forest (my first TSR game- it is like Candy Land with Orcs ambushing you).

It is the return of a not-so-classic-but-definitely-old game!

That is some ancient nostalgia there, think I was a college freshman the year the originals hit. What’s next, the triumphant return of the Squats? 🙂

Honestly, given the direction GW has taken recently, I wouldn’t be too surprised if we see the Squats return (using a different name, some fleshed out fluff, some changes to the aesthetic).

I honestly think that GW has been leaving a lot of money on the table for years with all of their old out of print games.

But this one was definitely at the bottom of my list.
