Seeing as there will be tens of thousands of gamers all stacked one on top of the other in a week and a half in Indianapolis, game companies would be wise to bring out new products to show off, particularly if they’re going to be seeking funding for said projects later in the year. Well, the people at Mythic Games are wise, and so they will be showing off Mythic Battles: Pantheon, at the show.
This will be the first chance North American gamers have to try it out. There are special 2-hour demo sessions, with tickets available on Gen Con’s website. They’ll be able to take up the mantle of one of the Greek gods, build up armies full of mythical heroes, and conquer Olympus in order to form their own pantheons.
“After more than a year in development and extensive playtests in Europe, we can’t wait to bring Mythic Battles: Pantheon to the states,” says Léonidas Vesperini, project manager of Mythic Games. “With more than 60,000 attendees who are passionate about tabletop games, Gen Con is the perfect place for Mythic Battles: Pantheon to make its North American debut.”
