Long-time readers of TGN know that I’m a fan of quick, easy, little games that you can throw in your gaming backpack and take out at just about any point to play a short game whenever and basically wherever. Got some time between rounds of a tourney? Waiting for the last player to show up for RPG night? LGS closing in a half-hour but you still want to play something? Well, Mystigo Games is running a Kickstarter for four such games as part of their Mystigo Games Kit.
The four games (and a quick idea of what they are like) are:
The Gallerist: Out-bid your opponents to create the best art gallery ever known.
Dr. Blender’s Lab: A mad scientist’s creations have gotten jumbled up and you need to help set them right again.
Trust Me: Collect farmyard animals while avoiding the rampaging tornado (having lived in Kansas, this one speaks directly to me)
60 Dwarves: Hire the least-drunk dwarves out of the group in order to mine the precious gems that you so desperately desire.
The games are designed to be easy to teach, easy to learn, and quick to play. You can even get your non-gamer friends involved pretty easily.
The campaign is set to run for another 28 days.
