I had myself a pretty good weekend. Got some Guild Ball in both Friday and Saturday. Made some Italian Beef and chocolate chip cookies. I played some Usual Suspects. It was a good time. Though I need to get my group to start using terrain on our Guild Ball pitches. What sort of terrain? Well, we could use some of the stuff below.

In today’s Terrain Corner we have: Mega Metropolis Scenery now available from Fantasy Arc, Sea Dog Game Studios releases 15mm shipwrecks, Heroic Maps release: The Temple of Ivy, and Operation Alpha: Pwork Wargames Sci-Fi Gaming Mat Now Available.

Mega Metropolis Scenery now available from Fantasy Arc

Fantasy Arc is pleased to announce the release of Mega Metropolis Scenery, or Mega Daitoshi Fukei in Japanese (aka MDF). Mega Metropolis Scenery is an exciting line of laser-fabricated mdf terrain for 28-32mm wargaming. Suitable for tables set in the modern day to near future, MMS terrain displays the gritty, lower tech side of town where everything is not always shiny and sleek. At the core of MMS is the collection of train items, unique to tabletop wargaming. The mid-level tech Locomotive & Tender is ready to pull a variety of industrial cars, while the Passenger Locomotive and Car transport the population in areas outside the posh urban center. And because no table is complete witout a variety of scatter terrain to liven it up, the MMS also includes various Signs, Billboards, Street Lamps, Generators, and Hex Crates. With more to come!

All MMS items are laser-cut from quality Laser Green MDF that contains no added formaldehyde! You may not have known it but not all mdf is created equal. Insist that the mdf that goes into your gaming terrain contain no added formaldehyde.

All items are in stock and available now at the Fantasy Arc webstore. Make sure to use the promo code “Mega” at checkout for 15% off your order.

Sea Dog Game Studios releases 15mm shipwrecks

Does your game or adventure need a glorious wreck? Sea Dog Game Studios just added a number of shipwrecks to our online store! Our line of shipwrecks will provide the setting you’ve desired for your adventure! These wrecks are created from hand-sculpted master using an open mold, thus the bottom may have small air bubbles inherent to the casting process. The wrecks are cast resin and come unpainted. Minor differences in features or dye color may occur. These wrecks are sculpted to approx. 15MM / 1/100th scale.

Some of these designs may be “scale agnostic” and useable with 25/28mm minis as well. If this is what you are seeking it is suggested to avoid wrecks with obvious doors or deck cannons as these are sculpted in 15mm scale and will seem a bit small for 28. Suggested painting is a matte black spray followed by dry brushed acrylics to bring out all the glorious details!

Heroic Maps release: The Temple of Ivy

Temple of Ivy

None know who built the Temple of Ivy, nor which deity it was made to honour. The abandoned temple has sat deep in the forest for centuries, it’s doors magically sealed. A few brave souls that have scrambled though the few breaches in the wall report that the floor and walls are adorned with ivy symbols and carvings, but none know the meaning of them. And so, with the true name of the temple lost, this structure has come to be called the Temple of Ivy.
