“There’ve been so many great dice released for BattleTech over the years,” said Randall N. Bills, Managing Developer for Catalyst Game Labs. “So when Q-workshop started talking about BattleTech, I immediately had grandiose plans for how to make these sets cooler and more unique than any that have come before. It was a blast co-developing this with their team, but ultimately you’ll let us know if we hit a sweet spot on your gaming table!”
“ToSS: Trials of Sword and Staff” is a cooperative dexterity game in which you are heroes fighting to slay monsters and loot treasure – by throwing ping pong balls into cups. Earn levels as a warrior or a wizard, explore exciting new powers, and most important, get to have fun whatever your skill level. Your team can take on a full campaign and try to achieve glory, keep it quick with a single scenario, or even go head-to-head in team combat!
Dreamwars is a 1 to 8 players boardgame set in an original steampunk fantasy setting with a strong horror vibe, where technology coexists side by side with the ancient discipline of the Canto, a forbidden reality-shifting art fuelled by desire. Thanks to our made-in-Italy and completely hand-drawn art design, together with the unique narrative element which is present everywhere in the game, you will feel immediately immersed into the world of Ylen and ready to face the horrors awaiting in the dark. Each game is part of a non-linear story where the Heroes will have to face hordes of nightmarish creatures in order to prevent their monstrous masters from fulfilling their plans. During the course of each game the Heroes have the chance to grow and learn new abilities, explore the territory and discover forgotten treasures and terrible secrets. Thanks to its unique scenarios structure and the easy-to-learn base mechanic, each game of Dreamwars is set to offer the best in terms of fun and replay value. Welcome to the Dreamwars!

Based on the the unique and absurd humor of Justin and Mitchell Lucas and with gameplay designed by Adam and Brady Sadler (Warhammer Quest: The Adventure Card Game), Awful Fantasy: The Card Game is a casual card game for 2 – 6 aspiring awful authors. Each player takes on the role of a ridiculous author equipped with a hand of awful cards, which are used to either draw fantasy cards or thwart your rival authors.
The goal of the game is to collect a series of fantasy cards to complete your own tale of awful fantasy. Each story must contain at least 3 fantasy cards, including a plot, a protagonist, and an antagonist. The combinations of these cards are diverse, and each play provides a new opportunity for you to tell a tale more awful than your last.
For the second time in a row The Painting Frog blog is holding its “Rumble in the Jungle” tournament in the city of Cuiaba in Brazil.
It has just divulged the dates the event will be held on, so if you needed an excuse to go visiting Brazil other than the Olympics, there you go!
On Friday 29 April, Vexillia will be releasing Neal Reid’s first WWI card game VII Corps.
This two-player card game covers the experience of the British VIII Corps on the first day of the Battle of the Somme, July 1st, 1916.
The game follows the course of the pre-battle preparation and the first day of the battle itself. One player is commander of VIII Corps, Lt. General Sir Aylmer Hunter-Weston. The other, his opponent, Lt. General Hermann von Stein commander of the German XIV Reserve Corps.
This is not a balanced game, and one where the British will find it very hard to win.
The game will be available for $14.50 in both A4 & US letter versions from Vexillia Limited’s store at Wargame Vault. Follow the news link for more information and sample pages.

We’re now counting the hours until the Odyssey Kickstarter ends (Thursday, 21st April 11pm GMT)! It’s been fully funded, and a load of stretch goals have been unlocked, so the Argonauts are literally full of additional components for backers to use. Of course, I don’t want to stop there, and if we can get to the final stretches, then it will be a perfect end to a great campaign!
Please check it out! Every little bit can help!
On April 25th we expect to launch our next Kickstarter project which will be for KritterKins™. This is a collection of anthropomorphic animal character miniatures designed by Vicky Morgan-Keith and sculpted by Patrick Keith of Bombshell Miniatures.
Today we’re really pleased to announce the release of three brand new accessories for Mutant Chronicles fans, the long awaited Mutant Chronicles Gamesmaster screen in both print and PDF, plus two new d20s The Dark Legion and Dark Symmetry dice to complete your Mutant Chronicles dice collection.
Sculpted by Bob Murch, of Pulp Figures fame, this box set contains 17 new 28mm Miniatures for use with all your Skirmish Level World War Two tabletop games.
These figures are finely sculpted and dynamic enough to add an extra layer of selection and realism to your British North African Army.

To Fund this expansion of the White Knights Miniature Imperium, we are looking to raise £500 to help us to bring these 16 new miniatures to life. This poultry sum covers the cost of the production moulding of the 8 new packs of new 28mm sized, pewter miniatures.
By request I have made some new parts for my Post Apocalyptic Dwarf Biker Kickstarter project. I was asked to add a sidecar, a barrel (and arms to go along with it) and a more armoured dwarf. The images are “work in progress” shots but I wanted to show them before the project ends on the 28th of april. I still have some detailing to do. Please check out the project!
