I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.
  • This has the nicest terrain I’ve seen in years. Shame it’s getting almost no backing. Can’t help feeling this would have been in the 100 thousands by now if it had been on Kickstarter and got noticed by all the blogs.

  • It can’t be because it’s on Kickstarter. I think it’s the incredible amount of crowdfunding projects currenty running at the same time on Kickstarter and Indiegogo . and perhaps people who are interested in Steampunk games are already playing Dystopian Wars… Steampunk just isn’t as generally appealing as Mantic’s stuff, too.

Nevertheless I do think Wölsung will end up being funded, even though some stretch goals might not be reached. Most campaigns I followed had a strong push of fundings during the last 3-4 days of their run.

  • Compare say this kickstarter project: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/101466427/tectonic-craft-studios-new-line-of-war-games-terra?ref=users

this was purely for lasercut terrain. Now the Wolsung terrain in comparison is quite incredible and is not getting much notice so far.

Mind you there is also the benefit that a bunch of the massively successful miniature game kickstarters get pimped by Penny Arcade, the value of a mention on their site probably can’t be easily measured but they definitely had a hand in the huge success of Zombicide, Sedition Wars and Mantic’s Space football game
