Looks good. I’m guessing those are infinity models. I’m leaning more and more towards trying that and this would be a great start for the terrain.

Those are indeed Infinity minis. Some of the PanO range.

  • Tommygun

    Very Impressive.
Something similar like a monorail would also be great.

    • Zac

That would be nice. You should suggest that to them. Maybe they can work with someone like Jed at Antoneciti’s to build one.

Yeah, nice thought.. you could probably modify some existing kits to fit this bill but having a made to order piece that works with it would be awesome. The guys at Antoneciti’s would probably knock it out of the park as their designs are usually right along these lines.

Overall, I think the idea is brilliant, because it adds the 3D aspect to any sci-fi board SO easily! The stylisation I don’t like that much though. My main complaint would be the shape of a rail support piece: it’s just to fancy for my taste. Multiple curves, round shapes, multiple (also round) holes making the whole piece look somewhat filigree… I still, like the overall effect, and will keep my eye on it in hope there will be some simpler supports available in the future

I like those alot as well.

But for the rail pieces, I am pretty sure those are a clip on. So you could just not attach them if you dont want to use them.

Nice. I’m a big fan of laser-cut wooden kits and these seem to be very high quality with engraved detail as well as cut-throughs.

  • So long as they’re priced reasonably… I’m in! A lot of laser cut MDF scenery will cost you as much as a laser CNC Machine!

    • Zac

Its the shipping. Wood is heavy.

      • Even the base cost from their website is super high… But you’re right… Shipping is just crazy as well. There is a guy who stocks it locally in Toronto… But it’s still too rich for me.

Looks really good, I am eager to see this one adds a different element in the table and is eye catchy.

I wonder if they will have stairs to go with it?
I did go to their web site and suggest they do a monorail and raised passenger platform.
This catwalk could then connect up to it.
