OMG.. if it’s got 28mm figures I’m all over this.

Sigh, we’re just throwing out anything with a cool license now? I’ll admit, I’m intrigued by 28mm Mega Man minis, but I feel a cultural icon saturation coming on. Between CMON’s faux celebrity cameos, and the recent old school stuff like the Robotech rebirth and this, I’m guessing it won’t be long before Sonic the Boardgame and Legend of Zelda the Boardgame. We’ll see if mechanics match the cool license.

Legend of Zelda board game, done well, now that would be cool!

There are and have been boardgames of all sorts of franchise/properties.. Thanks to Heroclix there are even a ton that are technically miniature games. When I was little we played all kinds of board games based on pop-culture.. but it was always crappy tokens and punch out cards. I can’t see how anyone would complain about Capcom making board games.. and presumably miniatures. I would love to see something based on Street Fighter (if it’s not already out there.. which would shock me).

Don’t forget about the White Wolf Street Fighter RPG.

Ok, someone can do way better than that 🙂

I’m sure you guys will get a kick out of THIS.

Lol. “Her boobs would be amazing. Like the second or third best in the world!”

          • 4tonmantis

That was pretty funny but OMG the Contenders one that followed is insanely funny.

They covered three books in total, but if I linked to all of them then the post would have spent forever in moderation. Needless to say, most of the WTF D&D articles are hillarious. I particularly like the last three that had them playing through a Call of Cthulhu adventure with Curt Kobain and Eazy-E as PCs.
