Leeds Warmachine holding Breast Cancer Brawl in October
Leeds Warmachine is having a Breast Cancer Brawl event coming in October. Play wargames for a good reason.
From the announcement:
There is a 32 player 35 point Breast Cancer Brawl event supporting Macmillan Cancer Support taking place in Leeds on 21st October at Travelling Man.
The rules Pack is now Available http://www.leedswarmachine.co.uk/BCB_Rules_2012.pdf and I’m trying to get awareness of it spreading to all who might be interested in coming along, playing in a really fun different event and supporting a great charity.
We have prize support from Privateer Press, Cerberus, Guts N Gears, Fat Spider terrain, Litchfield Model Makers, Boyzie Painting Tutor and Travelling Man and we are offering:
Best in Faction Pink Cards
1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes
Most generous donation each round
Best pink army
Best pink individual model
Plus a raffle with some very funky prizes in it.
Players can sign up via emailing [email protected] or putting their names down on the threads on The Warhammer Forum or under the Official Demos and Events section on the Privateer Press forums.
We have new players attending and this is intended to be lots of fun for both newer and more experienced players.
If anyone wants to help out with offering extra prizes to the event then please get in touch with me via [email protected]
Hopefully we will get a really good turnout for this and that people enter into the spirit of the day playing a game we all love to raise money for a great cause.
Pink armies are not mandatory.
There are still spots left and I would really like to get to October with a full player list and reserves in case anyone drops out. This is a great opportunity for the UK community to support a very worthwhile charity and have a lot of fun doing it.
