I vaguely recall that the game/figures were licensed.. but I’m doubting that the art (which was the cover of an animated release) was also secured. These guys are playing it a bit fast and loose..

I would love to have seen the approval process for the PDF. The overall randomness and lack of consistency is just insane.

Though given DC/Warners recent treatment of their properties, once the check clears it is probably all yours.

I doubt that they’re playing it fast and loose (despite what we normally see in the industry).

Knight relies on licensed properties for their entire business model. They don’t want to burn IP holders or they’ll be in a lot of trouble.

Especially since they’d be burning Time Warner and DC comics both at once if they overstep their bounds on the Batman game. And their other IP holders would be watching (New Line Cinema, Disney/Marvel, etc.).

I expect that this is 100% on the up and up.

leaves me cold, their Stuff looks only good when Pro painted, too fragile for Gaming as well

I’ve been meaning to check out the ruleset. I’m rather fond of Knight’s range of miniatures range. They have some pretty nice sculpts.

Holy ironic article title typo, Bataman!
