Greetings all you wall-crawlers out there.
In the world of comic books, I’ve always been more a reader of Marvel than of DC. Not that I had anything against DC comics, but when I started reading comics, I was an early teen in the mid-90s. So, of course, I read Wolverine (though soon spread out from there, mostly to X-Factor. Strong Guy for the win!). I just never really got into DC books. As such, that sort of bias has spread through the rest of things associated with the comics. I’m more interested in the Marvel Cinematic Universe than I am with DC’s. I’m also more interested in Marvel games. Well, Knight Models has an announcement that I, and people like me, will appreciate. They’re coming out with a Spider-Man Miniatures Game.

For those that have played the Batman Miniatures Game also from Knight Models, the rules will seem familiar, as they describe it as “an expansion annexed to the BMG rules.” For those that have picked up various Marvel figures along the way, there’s a good chance they have rules in the game already. Knight Models has posted the rules up on their website, along with character stat cards. They’re free to download, so go check ’em out.

I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

I guess I have been out of the comic world to long as I missed the fact that Spiderman has armed henchmen.

That’s a different Spider-Man than the “original” that you know. Very long story, but the short version is, there’s about a dozen different Spider-heroes out there these days.

Ian, that’s Superior Spider-man, who took over for Spider-man for a while. Very cool storyline! I think that was last year or two years ago in the comics? Check it out if you have a chance. :)

Seconded. It was a good temporary change of character. It could have lasted a bit longer, but it’s hard to change such an iconic character before you tick off the die-hards.

I had the same reaction so had to look it up.
