Infamy Miniatures is having an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds for their latest creation, Dr. John Watson, the third in their miniatures series.

From the campaign:

Inspired by famous literary characters, each Infamy mini is twisted to fit into a steampunk version of London in the late 19th Century.

You can read about the world of Infamy, the upcoming game and our first few releases on my website –, so I won’t go into too much detail here.

What I do want to show you is this sculpt of Doctor John Watson, as he is the reason for this little campaign.

I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

What scale is he and the others in the line?

    • Top of the Indiegogo page says “Help me get the next sculpt in my range of 32mm resin minis cast.

  • While I enjoy steampunk, these are alittle too Inspector Gadgety for my tastes. Very nice quality sculpting though.

Yeah, nice sculpting of a silly design.

He would make for a very good diorama, but I think it would be too fragile as a gaming piece.
I would be tempted as a collector to pick it up.

Great idea, nice sculpt, but the execution looks like something thought up by someone who has never read the books. Plus, actual doctors in that day and age — WAY scarier. Really good boutique figures though.

You don’t know that the doctors would be scarier in a Steampunk world. 😉
