Privateer Press have posted a preview of the Trollblood Warlock Jarl Skuld.

Jarl Skuld

From their website:

Jarl Skuld is an infamous bandit and highwayman who has become an unlikely guerilla leader among the desperate trollkin remaining in the Thornwood. A skilled gunfighter, Skuld uses a pair of customized, rune-scribed pistols to deadly effect. With lightning raids and devastating ambushes against Cryx, Khador, and other enemies of his people, Jarl Skuld has truly earned the moniker “Devil of the Thornwood.”

A gunfightin’ Trollkin Warlock? Yes please!

(Would also be great for roleplaying purposes, but that’s another matter)

So the Trolls get a version of Caine? Just as Cygnar gets a version of a Menoth caster and jack…
Yawn. The diluting of factions differences continue….
It still better than GW… but I used to LOVE this game.

    • So anyone with two magelock pistols is just another Caine?

      • faultie

No! Stop it! Get your reasonableness out of here.

  • Love the sculpt! But, I still don’t understand how he is able to be a good shot without depth perception. HE ONLY HAS ONE EYE!

Hopefully Circle gets a second construct warlock. p&eBuldar aren’t enough!!1

Maybe a part of his magical power is committed to being able to shoot/see properly.

Wait a minute… P & E Baldur? Is there an Epic Baldur coming that I’ve somehow missed (or forgotten about)?

  • Ferrus_Manus

Gunfighter =/= Caine. I think Jarl visually and fluff-wise is pretty distinct.
@cybogoblin: We knew that eBaldur will be in Domination for some time now.

Ahh, kewl, I have just forgotten. That’s a relief :p

I don’t think Jarl is going to borrow too much from Caine, maybe just the pistols. I am hoping for some Ambushy goodness, though. And a Tier list that includes a good number of Pygs.

Cool details on that model. As often a more creative pose could make it a lot more interesting though.
