Sandy Peterson is back at it, making another epic board game with lots of high-quality miniatures. It's sort of a thing he does. And I'm pretty sure we're all happy that he does it! We've seen what he can do with the works of H.P. Lovecraft. This time he's tackling the writings of Greg Stafford and his Glorantha world. Glorantha: The Gods War is the resulting game, and it's up on Kickstarter now.
In the game, you take on the role of the leader of one of the elemental factions. Each of you wants to be in control of the universe (or possibly just what's left of it after you all fight over it). Each of the different factions plays very differently from one-another. As such, each time you play you can get a bit of a different gaming experience. Control monsters and gods, themselves, in your quest for power.
The Kickstarter is doing rather well. They're more than 3x funded (of not already to 4 or more by the time you read this) with still 27 days left to go.
