GamerGauge is a new measuring device to help gamers find melee and charge ranges and so forth. They’ve got a few days left on their Kickstarter campaign and are closing in on their funding goal.

From the campaign:

We started with some basic parameters. First, our design would need to measure one inch (or multiples of one inch) and it would have to be as precise as possible. Next, we wanted our design to be simple, or at least as simple as the tape measure it was meant to replace. And if it could look really cool, that would be awesome too.

After a lot of brainstorming and research, we came up with a very simple design that filled all the parameters we had set. The design harkens back to ancient cartographers who found a simple and accurate way to divide distances on a map. And the GamerGauge was born!

I am sorry but I thought several companies already make the same things? The movement gauge and blast keys are sold by a bunch of people. Why would I spend 20 dollars on something I can buy from someone else for less the $5? Also why wouldn’t I use just a regular compass so I could measure even more then the set one inch?

  • Because it “looks” cool?

A very cool und novel idea but unfortunately it is another of these kickstarters that are totally unappealling for us euroguys since the postage increases the pricing in a disproportional way
