I was never very good at fighting video games. A friend up the street had Street Fighter II when it came out. I’d go over there and regularly get my ass handed to me. At best, I became mediocre at Soul Caliber when I was in college, because my roomie had a Dreamcast and so I played it somewhat regularly. But then, I only lost about 67% of the time, as opposed to the 99.99% of the time as I usually did. However, if you change the format from video game to tabletop game, I fare a bit better. So I might have a chance to win games of Fur Vs Scale, a new card game that’s up on Kickstarter now.
In the game, players take control of one of four characters. Each character has a special deck of moves, as well as special abilities on their character card. Players play cards in order to form combos while their opponent looks to block them and counter-attack. Over four rounds, players are looking to achieve 60 points and knock out their opponent. Do you have what it takes to take out the competition?
The Kickstarter campaign just launched today and is set to run for another 31 days.
