We’ve made it, everyone. We’re into Friday. Just gonna finish up the day and we’ll be into the weekend. The end is in sight (and it’s not just a freight train at the end of the tunnel… … … I hope). But if we’re going to have a weekend full of gaming (as I hope to have), we’ll need to fuel up on some bite-sized gaming stories.

The Wondrous Dice project by Norse Foundry is about making a new type of precision aluminum dice. This project will allow us to create something new that has never been done: add multiple colors in a unique way to your aluminum dice set. Working with our anodizer we have developed a new manufacturing technique to apply multiple colors of anodization. This allows the creation of unique dice that could not be offered on metal dice before. This process is not easy or cheap to produce. We are asking you to support this project to allow us to bring these dice to life!
The common side of the coin has a knob molded into the metal. Players use one or two hands to spin the coin like a top. Once the coin is spinning at full speed (which just takes a second), the player puts their finger at the bottom of the coin and stops it.
The result is the number displayed in the first visible sector to the left of the player’s finger. A sector is considered visible if you can completely see both of the sector lines surrounding the number. It is that simple. The project video shows them in action. Patent pending.
The first scenario for Raid & Trade is ready and is entitled: Bloody Package. This is a scenario that applies in the base game and is for 2-5 players. We will upload a new scenario on a monthly basis. This will be a free downloadable pdf file.
Carrot supplies are getting low and the rabbits must brave the wilds to collect enough to feed the colony! Time is short, the pathways long and the birds are circling overhead, looking for easy prey.
Carrotia is a light co-operative, tile placement game for 1-6 players where the team collectively works together against a timer to build three different mazes of increasing size. The master rabbit needs to dash from entrance to the exit within a specific number of moves according to the current mission card, scooping up the precious carrots while avoiding the owl, hawk and other birds as they swoop low over the zones causing mayhem and mischief.

We got out of hibernation and release some new model.
Welcome Space Invader.
Ugly grey alien for 28 mm scale (actual size about 25 mm)
We’re very pleased to announce that we’ve teamed up with John Treadaway, co-author of the Hammer’s Slammers: The Crucible rulebook, and Ainsty Castings to create 6mm versions of the approved Hammer’s Regiment vehicle designs.
Our initial release is of the core vehicles needed for a Slammers detachment – the M2A4 blower tank and the M2A4F command variant, the M9A1 combat car and M9A4 command variant, and the A21 jeep. These new models have all been created digitally and are cast in pewter, while the combat cars are supplied with etched brass splinter screens.
Infantry, both on foot and on skimmers, are available from Ground Zero Games, although we have some stocks which we’re using to create army packs (for individual packs of figures you can contact GZG directly).
Future releases will include further variants of the M2 tank and M9 combat car as used by other mercenary units, plus the uparmoured variants used by the Slammers Regiment in their later days. We will also be releasing ambulance and cargo variants of the combat car, a mortar jeep and artillery hogs to complete the Slammers’ ToE.
