I bet you Sports Fans thought we had forgotten about you after all this Dark Souls business eh?
NOPE! Tomorrow is the official launch of Season 2! So it’s time for an Errata video. So Mat Hart and Jamie Perkins are here to give you guys the rundown on what changes you can expect to see in your shiny new Season 2 Rulebook!
In February I released to the market a new range of flocking matterials with a size designed to skirmish wargames (2 gr bags). Last week I have translated the ‘colour chart’. At the moment I have 136 references in my catalog.
Painting miniatures for The Others Presents some unique Challenges, so having colours that have been specially designed for the job is a must.
I Picked colours that not only work well for a particular Sin, but also mixed well with each other for shading and highlight colours for different Sins. I also added paints that would be useful in general – such as Glistening Blood, and Red Tone Ink. Gloss Varnish is a great addition for giving shine to slavering maws and sharp talons. – Mike McVey, Art Director The Others Studio McVey
We’re excited to offer 22 new types of premium, resource tokens to enhance your favorite games. All tokens come pre-painted. Most of the tokens are resin, and a few of them are made of metal (tool, cleaver, magnifying glass, and the axes). The token quantities are calibrated to match the most popular games that use these token types.
Bone Origins dice are a unique kind of dice that, instead of using conventional pips and numbers, have their own intuitive language of bone shaped markings.
Although unique, the markings have been carefully designed to make the dice super easy to use and read when playing tabletop games.
Hot on the heels of the space demons, we have the 6mm versions of our popular Federal Army “exterminators!”
There are three sets to start — riflemen, weapons and command, and the big Caiman IFV.
The vehicles especially are pretty easy to make in 6mm so if this stuff is well received we are certain to make more of our existing stuff in 6mm.
Bloodstone Frontier, the first game from Soulspryte Studios, will be launching on Kickstarter on April 27th 2016.
Bloodstone Frontier is a tabletop skirmish game using high-quality resin figures, which is set in a pioneer-punk universe where the card-based gameplay mechanics remove the requirement for tape measures and dice. All you need to play are two gangs of 3 to 5 Characters, a deck of playing cards and an opponent!
Teaser trailer, gameplay diagrams and overview, and pledge details will all be available on Kickstarter, but for now you can whet your appetites with model previews (including 3D rotational renders) and beautiful environment art on our website and Facebook page.
This is the first bust piece Dark Sword is testing demand on. The initial run on this piece is very limited and will be available only via our Online Store as we test out the waters. It is based off of Tony DiTerlizzi’s wonderful painting entitled “Portrait of a Young Tiefling”. It is a 1/10th scale resin bust which you can see detailed pictures of down below. We have assembled model pictures, pictures of the parts, and even scale pictures next to rulers. And finally, we have a size comparison picture next to the gaming scale miniature based on the same piece of artwork to really drive home the respective size differences. 1/10th scale is the most common size of bust we found in researching what size to make this. I also wanted to call to your attention the fact that we have included a free resin plinth/stand for those folks that wanted something right out of the box to work with. More advanced bust modelers will of course mount this bust on a custom plinth or stand of their own design and choosing. If this is the type of product you would like to see more of, please let us know on our Facebook page or simply by emailing us.
