Friday Snippets

We’ve made it to Friday! Woo! Congratulations, everyone. Good job. Just a bit more and we’ll make it to the weekend. My plans look like they’re going to include trying to paint up my Hunter’s Guild and making Jammie Dodgers. We’ll see how all that goes. But before I get to all that, I need to fill up on some bite-sized gaming stories. And, starting out, Kraken Dice certainly has been busy this morning…

On the platter today we have: Glitter Bomb Dice Sets Available From Kraken Dice, Second Batch of Ethereal Shaman Dice Coming Next Week, Island of Misfit Dice Sets Available Today, New Custom Dice Trays From Deep-Cut Studio, Skirmisher Publishing Releases Heroes & Monsters of the Necropolis: Tokens & Avatars for Virtual Tabletops, Chicharra Hopper Sci-Fi Hopper Up On Kickstarter, Impact! Miniatures Running Chibi Capsule Magical Girls & Monsters Kickstarter, and Baueda Releases 15mm Alan Light Horse Mini.

Glitter Bomb Dice Sets Available From Kraken Dice

I made 40 Glitter Bomb 28 piece combos and testing the idea out. I thought the colors were pretty and went well together. If the feedback is good on the combos I will try out some others in the future.

Second Batch of Ethereal Shaman Dice Coming Next Week

ETHEREAL SHAMAN UPDATE

We have been busy packing order and the first 400 sets of Ethereal Shaman started shipping yesterday. We hope to have the rest shipped in the next couple of days.

For those of you that missed out on the first round of Ethereal Shaman, the last 400 sets will launch Friday 8pm PST on March 30th.

Island of Misfit Dice Sets Available Today

For just the price of a cup of coffee you can save a dice set. Are you willing to sacrifice a cup of coffee to adopt a dice set in need of a new home?

Each and every kraken die is checked by hand for imperfections before we send it out to its new owner. These misfit dice are the ones that did not make the cut. Misfit dice sets want a home, a warm hand to caress them and that chance to roll a natural 20 to live up to their potential. Adopt a set and give these dice a chance to roll.

Each Misfit Dice set comes with a Certificate of Adoption so you can give your dice a name.

* The dice in this set are B Grade and have cosmetic flaws, which may include, excess paint, not enough paint, small dents or scratches. A dice bag is NOT included with the misfit dice.

Only $4 – Available March 23, 2018 at 6PM PST

Chicharra Hopper Sci-Fi Hopper Up On Kickstarter

“Chicharra” sci-fi hopper is out now on Kickstarter. This project is about 3D printable models of the Chicharra in both Civilian and Warbird versions, and additional terrain to create landing facilities for it.

This is our first Kickstarter on our own, but we’ve already participated in materials for other campaigns from Antenociti’s Workshop (Chickenhawk / Superhawk dropship) and Micro Art Studio (Terminus segments terrain mats), and I’ve been working with Corvus Belli for almost all its cardboard terrain sets (Red Veil, Operation Icestorm…).

The Chicharra have been designed from its roots to be printable without supports and using lowest end printers, all pieces fit smaller 100x100x100mm printers, so no matter what your machine is… you’ll probably get awesome results from it.

Baueda Releases 15mm Alan Light Horse Mini

Latest addition to our expanding 15mm Gothic range: Alan Light Horse!

Upon the Hunnic defeat of the Goths on the Pontic Steppe around 375 AD, many of the Alans migrated westwards along with various Germanic tribes. They crossed the Rhine in 406 AD along with the Vandals and Suebi, joined the Vandals in the invasion of the Iberian Peninsula and eventually crossed into North Africa with them, becoming part of the powerful Vandal kingdom.
