Wargames Foundry have released the Rivals of the Raj sourcebook.

From their announcement:

Brand new Foundry book available and in stock now. Rivals of the Raj
Non-British colonial armies in Asia 1497–1941
Written and Illustrated by Peter Abbott

The latest in our acclaimed military series of A4 sized hardbacks with traditional linen and gilt binding features the armies of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Denmark, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, America, Belgium, Italy and Sweden!
200 pages. Illustrations include 243 figures, 53 illustrations and 4 maps. Post Free

This book traces the developments in the structure, armament, and uniforms of the armies maintained by the imperial powers in Asia throughout the colonial period, with illustrative order of battle material. The evolutionary development of the armies which maintained the colonial powers’ extraordinary ascendancy in the East for four and a half centuries has seldom been surveyed as a whole, and certainly not in the kind of organisational detail included in this book!

The first 50 orders for Rivals of the Raj will receive a copy signed by the author.

Orders which include any Foundry Wargames rules/publications, like Rivals of the Raj and Kevin’s new book, are post free; no matter how many models (or anything else) you buy at the same time, we will send your entire order post free!!!
