Graven Games put up a review of the Angron, Primarch of the World Eaters model from Forge World.

From the review:

Along with the release of the first Horus Heresy book, Betrayal, from Forge World we have also seen the release of the first official Primarch miniature. This model is Angron Primarch of the 12th legion of the adeptus astartes, The World Eaters. Angron was one of the 3 primarchs that joined Horus in purging their own legions of Imperial loyalists at Isstvan III ,also referred to as the Isstvan atrocity, before declaring war upon the Emperor of mankind and his loyal legions.

Those shoulder pads are kind of small. Where’s Privateer Press when you need them?

I agree. Also I purchased a Bulldozer for my 3 year old yesterday. The bulldozer came with cool sound effects. Why don’t the Games Workshop dolls come with cool sound effect? Like some dude screaming “Blood for the Blood God!” into a prerecorded message activated by a button right next to a karate chop action lever?

Maybe he could do the voice when he’s totally drunk so it can sound slurred, angry and evil?

    “…the first official Primarch miniature…”

That line makes me feel old, since I can remember the Leman Russ mini GW made. It was so long ago, it is totally understandable that Graven Games would call this one the first.

There were probably others (I guess the old Epic line had a few daemon prince primarchs).
