Flames of War gives us a preview of their upcoming army lists book: Blood, Guts and Glory.

From the preview:

It’s September 1944 and the Allies have stormed across France all along the front lines from Belgium to the French region of the Lorraine.

Patton’s unstoppable Third Army is poised to strike into Germany itself, with the hard-charging 4th Armored Division in the lead. Nothing, it seemed, stood in the division’s way as it pressed on.

FoW really needs to change it up. Maybe do Pacific Theatre or even Spanish Civil War or WW1.

The constant re-hashing of their material is getting dry, dull, and uninteresting.

They put out Vietnam stuff. And for fans of FoW there is tons of material they have yet to cover about WWII that the fans want. The pacific theater is wanted of course, but at the same time there is limited amount of stuff for them to release when it comes to the Pacific theater.

I leafed through this at Cold Wars, and if I remember correctly, it also had Tank Aces rules (like Infantry Aces in Cassino), which is definitely fresh. I may be way off on my memory here, but that’s what I recall.

It does in fact have Tank Aces which looks pretty darn cool. I’m totally excited for this release. Jumbo’s? Easy 8’s? Yes please!
