Dragon Mage Warfare

DragonMage Warfare is in their final week for their relaunch of their game on Kickstarter. They’re just around $200 from their goal, so it’s looking like they’ll be able to make it. The game revolves around players trying to conquer territory and protect their lands with powerful spells and monsters in order to prove that they’re the true heir to the DragonMage throne.

From the campaign:

DragonMage Warfare™ is a strategy themed fantasy board game for 2-4 players. Summon mighty creatures and cast ancient spells manifesting your knowledge of the archaic secrets to be superior to your opponents. Are you the prophesied heir to the DragonMage throne? Back us and find out! Games run from 60 to 90 minutes. The map is built differently each game allowing for a different strategic experience every time you play. There are six element decks representing Dark, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Light. Located within these sacred spell books are the mighty creatures and ancient spells that you will call upon to protect your lands. Of course, you will also need to strategically plan your attacks if you wish to reign supreme. On each player’s turn one of five actions is performed (Move, Play a mage, Play a card, Replenish spell book or Attack). Playing cards and winning/surviving battles yield a player experience points. Experience is tracked on your experience card that also doubles as a player aid to reference on your turn. This makes it easy to learn the game and plan your future moves. Once you become a DragonMage of two elements and Master of four you win the game. You can also win by taking your opponent’s element towers. A semi-simultaneous attack sequence allows all players to be involved during battles and possibly sway the outcome of the game. Players must strategically build armies of creatures and spells before their opponents get an edge. How will you become the next DragonMage? Thank you for taking the time to look at this project. Now, take your place on the council and pledge today.
