The world is at risk of utter ruin. It's only by joining together that the threat of international terror can be squashed. As such, WATCHDOG, a combination of all the leading nation's spy networks was created. But the terrorists aren't going to stand by idly. They've created SHADOW to counter this move. And then, there's just various mercenary groups who will work for the highest bidder. Who is on whose side? That's up to you to find out in Agents and Operatives, a new bluffing/worker placement game up on Kickstarter.
The game is designed for 4-8 players. At the beginning of the game, each player is secretly assigned to the spies, the terrorists, or the mercenaries. Each group, obviously, has different goals in mind. The spies want to take out the terrorists. The terrorists want to... well... cause terror. And the Mercenaries want the money. This is done by placing your workers in various locations on the map. If two players have workers in the same area, one can perform an action that will let them know who the other player is playing as. Of course, there's also taking over the various locations and using their abilities to further your goals. Lots of options for play when your workers get to the various locations.
The Kickstarter campaign is up and running now with 20 days left to go.
