Gangfight Games announces Mechadrome, their new sci-fi game of heavy metal combat.

From the post:

Mechadrome is a fast paced skirmish game for 2 or more players, set far in future when man and alien have come together to watch as their favorite teams do battle with giant robots in brutal arenas.

The game uses the same basic skirmish rules as Blackwater Gulch, with a few differences, but if you know how to play BWG, then it’s safe to say you already know how to play Mechadrome too. Feel free to download the test rules and give it a spin! The rules also contian extensive background information, details on the officially sanctioned teams and more.

Mechadrome is still under construction, but we expect to be launching a Kickstarter campaign in March. Stay tuned!

      I’m a chubby chaser!

but on a more serious note…these are very nice. something very practical/realistic about the proportions as well as being cool looking, unlike the Dust walker suits (I know it’s a different era/tech but others have made great ww2 weird war walkers also).

Anyhow, back to the topic, I was very impressed with the BW Gulch stuff. Got the minis from both of their KS’s and they are excellent quality, so this should not disappoint.

The general look is alright but I don’t like that the crest and weapons are the only real differences in the mechs between the different factions. I don’t know if it’s to keep the mechs “stock” like certain race car type events or whatever.. but I think the lack of distinction kills some of the flair these could have.
