Richard Nixon wasn’t elected President the first time he ran. And he’s not the only President we’ve had that didn’t make it the first time around. That’s alright. “If at first you don’t succeed” and all that. That’s the attitude taken by the folks behind Elected The Game. They didn’t make it the first time, but they’re back and ready to try again to get your vote (and pledge) on Kickstarter.
The game is fairly simple: Get everyone else to elect you President. At least, it sounds simple. But you’ve gotta do a lot of give-and-take, explaining your thoughts on the tough issues, and prove that you have what it takes to lead. Players will be given questions that they have to vote for or against. Everyone does this as people debate their answers. At the end of the game, the one with the most votes that are in favor of the debate questions is elected.
The game, as I’ve mentioned, is back up on Kickstarter, with the campaign set to run for another 24 days.
