Easternfront Studios has some new gladiator-inspired dwarf models they’re looking to fund on Kickstarter (actually, they’ve already made minimum funding, so it’s stretch goals from here on out). Go have a look-see.

From the campaign:

Hi all
I’m Mick Leach from Easternfront Studios miniatures. I would like to advice you that we’re running a new Kickstarter Project for a brand new line of miniatures suitable for Fantasy Football and skirmish wargames: the Dwarven Gladiators. Miniatures will be casted in resin in 28-30mm scale and fully compatible with all the major fantasy wargames and boardgames. We’ll also release alternative weapons, helms and arms. As stretching goal we set also a skirmish ruleset.
Here you can see the team concepts and the first three miniatures released so far.

    nice but way overpriced 🙂

I don’t think so, price seems ok, they’re resin and multipars. Also it’s a Kickstarter and there’s the chance to have more miniatures for free…

Hmmm these guys have plagiarized Greebo´s concepts…

and also, what would Greebo answer about this? http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/2012/08/31/63729/#comments

I don’t know that Orca is affiliated with Greebo. Greebo posted those pictures on a public forum yesterday, and I would assume that Orca is just reposting them.

I don’t think they’re THAT similar, really. Especially if Easternfront intends to do a whole line of gladiator models. In my opinion, they also look a lot better than Greebo’s original gladiator dwarves, though his new concept drawings are pretty cool.
