When I was a kid, I tended to watch a lot of Nick at Nite. As such, I used to watch a lot of old television shows from the 60s and 70s. So when I originally saw that Dream of the Djinn was a new tabletop RPG adventure that was up on Kickstarter, the first thing that went through my mind was this theme song. The adventure focuses on a lot more PC-death than the old TV show did.
Ammerpand, a djinn, has made her way to your city (of your adventuring party, that is), and has said that she will grant one wish to anyone who can overcome her challenge. One person has made it through the challenge and made their wish (though they’re not saying what they wished for). Will your characters take up the challenge? If they make it through, what will their wish be?
The adventure is formulated to work with Pathfinder and D&D, and can be swapped around to work with other game systems. It’s best to use with low-level characters who you’ve not gotten overly-attached to yet, since survival rates for the challenge aren’t that great.
The campaign is about 1/5 funded and still has 28 days left to go.
