Defiance Games is working on making their German Panzergrenadier legs just right, and they’re taking advice from you on it.

From the website:

We’re looking at the German parts now and finalizing everything. Take a look at these and tell us what you think. One question we have – on the armor plates would you like to have that raised central area on each plate further raised (i.e. a higher ridge)? Would that make it easier to paint? Let us know your thoughts!

I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.
  • I’m assuming Defiance will check here like usual… so even though they ask for input on their site I will offer it here in hopes that they read it:
If you want to make it easier to paint I suggest instead of making the center plate higher (and potentially ruining the aesthetic), make a slight indent along the base plate around the outline. This will create a natural channel for darker colors with drybrushing and a place for any washes to recess into.. You get more surface areas for painting without sacrificing what I consider to be a good look.

It is a good start. I can’t wait for my preorder of U.S. Marines.

This picture looks like a leg lundge. If that is supposed a knelling pose, the knee needs to on the ground. Otherwise, it looks akward.

It’s the angle of the shot. The bottom of the knee is in line with the bottom of the toes on the right boot, and those are in line with the left foot. There are 3 points of contact with the ground.

  • Getting some great feedback on this on the forums – thanks guys.
