Natty Industries is taking orders for custom-made dice. Get them for a game you’re working on or a special event or for whatever reason you’ve got.

From the announcement:

London start-up Natty Industries has begun using 3D printing to create custom dice with a minimum order of just 1. “I saw a gap in the market” says founder Nathaniel Caird “if you wanted personalized dice with your initials on for instance, you had to order a minimum of 100!”

Their dice are already being bought by an number of people, from board game designers to a large financial institution (that will remain nameless) Plus, you can have them 8-sided, 12 -sided, even 20 sided. Just don’t blame them for the next financial crisis.

Thought I’d take a look but the dice are 3D printed rather than laser engraved and cost £12 each!!!! Think I’ll give that a miss, items look pretty rough as well.

I would also point out that EM4 do custom dice, and with a minimum order of 25 dice, they clock in at around the price of about two Natty Industries custom dice.

Gap in the market; yes, but not that price! o_O

If they were £3 a piece instead, I could see a lot of people buying one or two though.

Still, if you wanted just one die that said, “I’m going to kill you, Hanson” as a sort of whimsical death threat, you wouldn’t want twenty-five of them. Maybe a second die with a portrait of each band member on two faces for determining who gets it first, but again, only one die. I think that’s the market gap right there, especially if they promise discretion, and I’m sure it’s what the anonymous financial organization they mentioned put in an order for.
