Cryptozoic Posts GAMA Preview

Cryptozoic is another company that will be at GAMA in Reno, Nevada. *again starts appropriate music* And while not everyone will be able to go to the show (like me, sadly), we can still live vicariously through the internet. Cryptozoic has posted up a list of what they’ll have on display at the show, and it’s not a short list! Looks like Cryptozoic’s looking to have a really busy year this year in terms of releases.

From the post:

Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of board games, trading cards, and collectibles, today announced that it will demo several of its new and upcoming games at the GAMA Trade Show, March 12-16 at the Peppermill Resort in Reno, Nevada. Hosted by the Game Manufacturers Association, the show is the largest annual business-to-business event for the U.S. hobby gaming industry, with retailers, manufacturers, publishers, and distributors among those who attend.

Cryptozoic’s original games for 2018 have all been guided by the principle of innovation, with the goal of providing fresh gameplay and design elements that create unique experiences for the hobby gaming community. The titles at the show include The Arrival, Bronze, Wallet, and the fourth Epic Spell WarsTM game. In addition, the company will show games based on popular IPs, including three new tabletop games based on Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty TV series, two new entries in the long-running DC Deck-Building Game series, DC Spyfall, and Street Fighter V Poker Assault. Cryptozoic will preview these games and more at Booth #325.

“Innovation is a word bandied about in every industry, but it really was what guided us as we worked to create our latest games,” commented Adam Sblendorio, Vice President of Creative at Cryptozoic. “If we had a game idea that didn’t push us forward as a company and didn’t provide hobby gamers something fresh, we left it behind. With releases like Wallet, Bronze, and Cult: Choose Your God Wisely, as well as exciting new Rick and Morty and DC games, we are going into GAMA feeling confident that our fans are going to have an amazing time playing our games this year.”
