CoolMiniOrNot releases a new model to their online store, Troll Potion.

From their release:

With her alchemical conconctions, the Voodoo practitioner known by her trademark Troll Potions is ready for any situation, on or off the field. Vile magic or gunpowder, it’s all the same to this dark temptress.

  • Kolonel K

    She has very impressive… shading

  • Absolutionis

Is this really a CMoN mini? It actually seems to have too much clothing to be a CMoN mini.

  • -DE-

Very impressive breast implants. Kudos to the plastic surgeon.

  • Soulfinger

Excuse me, Miss? Looks like you left your dignity over there by the iconic fat and sweaty nerd who might as well be the mascot for our hobby.

  • Oh, it’s the PC train. Let’s get on it!

Anyway, I would buy the miniature to use it for Malifaux, but sadly I expect it to be sold out until I have some money again.
It’s a well sculpted miniature and the awesome paintjob make it even look better.

I think the sculptor spent too much time working on her “assets” and neglected her face a bit. The facial features look OK, but the face in general looks flattened. Maybe it was thought of as balance for the parts that are most definitely not flat?

Most of the nerds who will buy this aren’t going to be looking at her face. 😉

  • 1voice2many

    Needz biger boobz.

Since when did Fantasy art get uptight?

  • number9

About ten years after the comic book industry did. Do we look forward to a future of non-sexy (sexist) female fantasy alchemists wearing non-corset aprons and sensible shoes? Seriously people she must be on her feet all day at the lab! And let us not forget safety; precarious candles on a top hat and caustic chemical concoctions are a poor conceptual choice.

  • Nosaj Verush

Does anyone know if she comes with that stone base or just the skull under her foot?

  • What scale?
I looked at the link but I couldn’t find any info on scale.

    • admanb

The model is 30mm. Her tits are 35mm.

For those who wish to see different figures, hire the sculptors and get them out there. As far as Coolminiornot, the guy has been running his site for years and knows what his customers wants and provides it to them. Are many of these models oversexed versions? Yes. This is especially true for the female figures. However, I think this might be better than say GW where the women are pretty much ignored unless they’re for one particular battle force whose support is… anemic. There are no ‘pure’ publishers, even Reaper has their share of eye candy.

Two things are systematically missing on CMON news on their website:

    a direct link to the item in the store;
an indication of scale, name of the sculptor, name of the painter, and of the artwork artist if applicable. It doesn’t hurt that these guys be named both in the news blurb and in the store, and it would perhaps avoid forgetting to mention the sculptor (looks like W. Klocke to me, but it should be explicitly mentioned).

That said I quite like the model. Huge breasts don’t bother me when the whole model is nicely sculpted, which I think it the case here.

    From here

    33mm to the eye.
    Cast in fine pewter.
    Art by Chris Bourassa.
    Studio paintjob by Ali McVey.

I’ll see if I can find the sculptor
