Seriously, who want’s to go to Georgia for a convention besides people from Georgia? And maybe Florida…

I dunno, Futurama made Atlanta look like a pretty glamourous place. I bet there are a few gamers who’ve always wanted to hook with a mermaid.

Yeah, all of those Dragon*Con people must be stupid or something.

If cmon had any game lines I found remotely interesting this would be nice, but alas they don’t so no I wont.

Alas this comment wasn’t needed then was it?

I assure you it was. I have peeps that come here who I don’t speak to all that often. Now they are able to read that I have no interest in going to the expo

You know small, marshmallow chickens that read TGN?!

    I’m there.

I’ve been many times, but sadly have yet to witness a sperm whale fight a giant squid. The Georgia Aquarium is missing out on a big draw.

All depends if you want to have a chance to play zombicide with McVey. Or to chat up with the game designers of Zombicide, Kaos Ball, Rivet Wars and Dark Age. If they do what they did last year they are going to limit the number of attendees so that the designers and painters are not mobbed like they are at GenCon. And get a preview of what is going to be coming out for the rest of the year.

    • Last year’s show was pretty much everything we could’ve hoped for in terms of people being able to just talk with the game makers and special guest painters in a relaxed atmosphere. So it’s certainly what we’re aiming for again. Shows like PAX and GenCon are certainly fun and are excellent shows, but it’s not easy to just stand around and shoot the breeze with the makers of your favorite games. We want the CMON Expo to be a calmer event where you don’t feel rushed to make it to your next event or get to that one booth so you can stand in line for an hour to buy some con exclusive.

So yeah, if you want to be able to just hang out and have a good time, CMON Expo is for you. Or, as we say, “Just for the fun of it.”
