Those look cool. I haven’t read many of the heresy novels – which book are they from and what’s the fluff surrounding them?

Well, in the year 36K, the Adeptus Mechanicus introduced the Mechanicum Thallax as part of a desperate gambit to quell an uprising on Sudispele V in the Southern Rim region of the galaxy. Essentially, the Thallax were the one soldier capable of going anywhere near the Heart of Corruption without being twisted by the massive influx of Chaos, exemplified by the sorry fate of the Angels Eradicant chapter of Space Marines, who were first to respond. Although the Mechanicus normally wouldn’t involve themselves in such a conflict, at least not quite so directly, Sudispele was the Forge World that housed the STC database for the Razorback tank, only recently uncovered by Chief Artisan Tilvius. Also, everything was on fire.

Although Google seems to contradict me.
