It’s Monday. We all knew it was going to happen. Not that we had to like it, of course. That’s not to say I’m mad about it being the start of the work week, but when you’ve had a great weekend, it’s always a bit of an, “… aw” to wake up Monday morning with a whole week ahead of you. At least it’s a long weekend coming up. So there’s that to look forward to. So, as we prep for paperwork, we can also prep for making our gaming tables look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Infinity Terrain Tiles From Modiphius, New Cobblestone Center Map From Warzone40k, Frosty Plain Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Flak and Coastal Bunkers sets Available From Warlord Games, and Heroic Maps – Geomorphs: Basic Dungeon Expansion Now Available.
It’s the latter half of the week. Just another few days and we’ll be back to the weekend. As always, I can’t wait. I’ve got D&D coming up Saturday. Our last session was over a month ago, and it was just an introductory one. This’ll be the real “Session 1” where we can actually get into the meat of our campaign. I’m ridiculo-excited about it. But, before we get there, we need to get your gaming tables looking good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Modular Bridges from Tabletop Scenics, New Farmer’s Guild Pitch From Deep-Cut Studio, and Dungeonfog Open Beta Launches.
What is it? Wednesday? Thursday? *looks at the calendar* Oh… Monday.
Must be an after-show Monday. They always feel like much further in the week. Ah well, my time at CMON Expo was pretty awesome. Will be looking forward to next year.
In the meantime, we need to talk about making your gaming tables look good while I go get a bit more caffeine.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Sally 4th 28mm scale Tramp Steamer kit Available For Pre-order, Meso-American Sale At Acheson Creations, and Deep-Cut Studio release official Morticians pitch for Guild Ball.
The week rolls on. We’ve gotten all the way to Thursday. And as you read this, I’m busy helping set up for CMON Expo. Yeah, they did a lot of set-up yesterday, but there’s always more to do. If you’re in Atlanta this weekend, stop on by. I’ll be down by the Media Room, hobnobbing with all the stars. 😀
But, in the meantime, I need to make sure your tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Gale Force 9 Previews Galactic Battlezones Terrain Boxes, Papierschnitzel Releases Samurai Village Builder, Deep-Cut Studio Releases Limited-Edition Space Mat, and Laser Terrain Co Modular Painted Terrain Up On Kickstarter.
As is always the case, we’ve circled back around and the weekend has given way to the start of the work week. It’s going to be a busy one, too. It’s CMON Expo this weekend, and, as always, there’s still a ton to do (that’s just the nature of conventions, as anyone knows). But before we get there, we need to make it through the next couple days, and that includes today’s Terrain Corner.
Today we’ve got: New Mechanicum Signs From Tabletop Scenics and
We’re continuing our way along the work week. We’ve come over the middle of hump-day yesterday and are sliding our way to the weekend. As predicted, my Wednesday did seem to take a while, but as I mentioned, that’s hardly anything new. We’ll see about making today and tomorrow go by quickly so we can get to Free Comic Book Day, Cinco De Mayo, and gaming! And if we’re gonna be gaming, we should make your gaming tables look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Modular Bridges – Riffled From Tabletop Scenics, Fenris Games Running Rubble City Kickstarter, and Heroic Maps – The Giants’ Cave Now Available.
Let’s try to not focus on the fact that it’s Monday and we’re back at the office (even if it what we do is pretty awesome and we enjoy it a lot). Instead, let’s think back to the weekend we had and all the awesome gaming (at least, I hope you had some awesome gaming. I did, and there’s even video proof). Next week’s another chance for gaming. And, of course, if there’s gaming, there may be gaming mats and terrain. So let’s show you some new stuff now and you might be gaming on them next time you play.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Saxon Longship From Sarissa Precision, Heroic Maps Releases Captain Bastide’s Pirate Den, New Industrial Terrain MDF Kits From Pwork Wargame, and New Tropical Swamp Mats From Deep-Cut Studio.
The week continues its inevitable march towards the weekend. It’s been a busy one for me, with lots of releases coming out tomorrow, there’s a lot of work to be done. Plus, you know, all the news (that’s fit to type). I’m really looking forward to some time off this weekend. I’m getting a bit run-down. But I’ve still got enough energy to get you your terrain articles.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Battle mat: Axis & Allies: War at Sea – Hexes Available From Warzone40k, New Felled Tree Trunk Terrain From Baueda, and Dark London Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
Well, they say that April showers bring May flowers. Well, it rained most of yesterday and it’s supposed to rain for most of today, too. It’s hard to think of a Sunday where it didn’t rain, actually. Ah well, it washes all the pollen out of the air, so I can’t really complain too much. Anyway, as it’s Monday, that means we’ve got a long week ahead of us until we get to the weekend again. But that also gives us time to make our gaming tables look great for next week’s games. Time to help with that.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Buildings for Bolt Action From Sally 4th, Lifeless Land Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, and New Mechanicum Elevator Available From Tabletop Scenics.
And we’re already into Thursday. The week continues along, speeding at full pace to that weekend that I know I love so much. Plus, it’s game day up at the library. So I’ve got that going for me. How about you? Any gaming planned this weekend Does it involve terrain? If it does, let’s make that terrain table look just a little bit better.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Shipping Container Bridge Available From Mechanical Warhorse, New Grimdark Signs from Tabletop Scenics, Volkano Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Heroic Maps Releases Fenherrick Monastery & Salt Marsh Maps, and Deep-Cut Studio teams up with Steamforged Games to releases official game mats for Guild Ball.
We knew it was going to happen. The weekend has ended and we’re back at the start of the work week. I had an exceedingly productive weekend of cleaning the den (though, for a while, I thought I was going to just sit at a railroad crossing forever, as the train that was on the tracks simply stopped, and there was no real way to turn around). But getting things done was definitely had. And as we start this week, we look forward to next weekend, and the games we’ll hopefully play, and the terrain we might be using in those games.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Infinity Terrain From Warsenal, New Viking Buildings From Acheson Creations, Battlefields Normandy Bocage Map Available From Heroic Maps, and Big Book of Battle Mats Now Available.
As I was expecting, Wednesday took its dear, sweet time. I remember looking at the clock after having done some proofing of a couple articles and working on some product sheets and going, “wait… it’s only 10:30am? How!?!” Ah well, it did eventually end, and it included going to that Brazilian place I’ve mentioned before (Picanha forever!). So that brings us to Thursday, and with it being Thursday, we need to make your gaming tables look better.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Tree Trunks Available From Terrain Factory, Castle of the Holy Sands Available From Heroic Maps, The Lodestone Modular Magnetic Wargaming Tabletop Building Terrain Up On Kickstarter, New Reinforced Walls Available From Tabletop Scenics, and Darkburg Map Available From Pwork Wargame.
The week continues along. As is usual for me, it seems as though Wednesday took an eternity. But now it’s gone and I can continue to just focus on wanting to get to the weekend. D&D will be had. Not sure if this group uses much terrain in their games, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still talk about good-looking tables.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Games06 Creating Game Mats and Magnetic Scenery, New Release for Terra-Block Urban Block / Shopping Mall, Modular Kit: Desert City – Houses Available From Heroic Maps, Ships: The Queen of Swords Available From Heroic Maps, Ships: The Bloody Sunrise Available From Heroic Maps, Forge of the Fire Hammer Available From Heroic Maps, Deep-Cut Studio releases official game mat for Pacific Rim: Extinction by River Horse, and Warzone Studio Releases Saraha Game Mat.
Happy Monday, everyone! It’s a new month. Can you believe that 1/4 of the year is already over? How time flies. I know what really flew by was the weekend. I swear, it was Friday about 45min ago. But this upcoming weekend will hopefully arrive just as quickly, and I’ll be able to get my new character out and take them for a spin. But, before then, we’ve gotta get there, and that means making your tables look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Temple Shrine and Walls From Sarissa Precision and New Cobblestone Road Segments From Frontline Games.
It must be a Thursday. I never could get a handle on Thursdays. Honestly, last night at several points, I thought, “Well, tomorrow’s Friday.” Oh was I not happy when I would remember, “wait… no… it’s only Thursday.” Kinda feel sorry for the day. It’s like, “hey there, day-that’s-not-quite-Friday. Thanks for seemingly just extending out the week some.” But it’s really not Thursday’s fault. It didn’t ask for this. And I think this metaphor has gone on long enough. Let’s talk about some terrain.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Viking Stone House Available From Acheson Creations, Terrains4Games Easter Sale Happening Now, and Ice Planet Game Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
Well, it’s Monday. I’m sure a lot of you out there are recovering from Adepticon. As you know, I didn’t go. Instead, I was busy making 3 new types of cookies (well, new to me, anyway. Snickerdoodles, White Chocolate & Macadamia Nut, and Jammie Dodgers aren’t brand-new types of cookies in the world). And now I’m getting ready to tell you about the quick Terrain Corner we’ve got.
Today: Arid Plain: Fantasy Gaming Mat from Pwork Wargames
Hello, Saturday Eve Eve. At least, that’s what I think of when I think of Thursday. I also start thinking about what I’m going to do over the weekend. Not long ago, I base-coated my Hunter’s Guild. They might just end up with some more colors besides flat black on them. Also, gonna try making Jammie Dodgers. We’ll see how that goes. But whatever I do, I also need to share terrain news with you. So let me do that now.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Sarissa Precision Cricket Pavilion Set Available, Post Apocalypse Terrain Up On Kickstarter, New Modular Shopping Mall Board from Sally 4th, and New Industrial MDF Scenery Available From Pwork Wargame.
Aaaaaaand we loop around to Monday.
No, I’m not really a fan of it, either. But, that’s the way the world works. We can still try and make the most of it by thinking about next weekend and the gaming that will (hopefully) be had. And with that gaming probably comes terrain.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Lord of the Rings Playmats Available From Fantasy Flight and New official Frostgrave Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
It’s slow going, ladies and gentlemen, but we’ll make it to that weekend eventually! I mean, time goes forward, right? Right?!
I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m waiting on some packages in the mail, but it seems like this week’s taking an eternity. The last couple zipped by. This week? Not so much. But we just gotta hang on and we’ll make it there.
Plus, this weekend is Board Game Day up at the library. And while most don’t use much in the way of terrain, that doesn’t mean we can’t all enjoy terrain for whatever games you might be playing this weekend.
Today in the Terrain Corner, we have: Fantasy Flight Games Announces Two New Game Mats For Star Wars: Legion and New MDF Scenery Kits From Pwork Wargame.
Hey everyone out there in Internet Land. For those here in the States (besides Florida), how’re you handling the time change? Being a morning person already, it wasn’t so bad for me. I actually felt that much of yesterday was later than it actually was (so, the opposite of what you’d expect). I’d be going, “wait, it’s not 4:30 yet?” when it was actually something like 1:30. But I’m getting the hang of it. Anyway, we need to make sure your gaming tables look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Fantasy Flight Games Announces Priority Supplies and Barricades for Star Wars: Legion, North Pass Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, The Lost Islands 3D printable Terrain for RPG and Wargames Up On Kickstarter, and The Hall of Portals Gaming Map Available From Heroic Maps.
The work week continues along. I hope yours is going well. Mine’s had bits here and there, but more good than “meh.” So that’s always nice. Busy as always, of course, and so it feels the week’s been going by quickly. Always that new project to work on, it seems. Speaking of projects, I’m sure many of you are out there making great-looking gaming tables. Let’s help out with that.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Urban Sector Game Mat Available From Pwork Wargame and Acheson Creations Releases New Base Camp Fortifications.
Man, this weekend just flew by. I always kinda hope the work week does, but not so much the weekend. I like those to stick around for a bit. Well, here’s to hoping that this week goes by quick and then time slows down once more when we get to Saturday. In the meantime, let’s make your gaming tables look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Cosmic Game Mats Available From Deep-Cut Studio, West Land: Fantasy Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargames, and Forge Transport Platform Available From Tabletop Scencis.
We’re already at Thursday. I don’t know about you, but my week’s going by quickly. Obviously, that’s not a complaint. Sure, I’ve been busy with proofing and writing stuff, but that’s how the days go, anyway. But I’m always looking forward to the weekend, as you well know. Probably going to do some board gaming on Saturday, but we’ll see. In the meantime, we’ve gotta get your gaming tables looking good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Up-sized Bunny Kingdom Boards Available from iello, New Mechanicum Stairs Available From Tabletop Scenics, and New Necromunda Terrain Available From Tyr Terrain.
It’s Monday. I hope your weekend was well spent. Here’s how I spent much of my weekend. Yes, there are plenty of mistakes that you can see even in that wide show. It’s been about 3 years since I painted anything, and before that, I wasn’t that great. But hey, they’re painted. It’s all about making your table look good. And having good terrain will also do that.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Amera Plastics Releases New 28mm styled North African Desert Building, Heroic Maps Celebrating 6 Months of their Patreon Map of the Month Club, and Dust Town Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
The weekend continues to draw ever-closer. Another couple days and we’ll be there. I hope you have gaming plans. I’m a bit up in the air at the moment. But that’s alright. Even if nothing fully materializes, I’m thinking I might work on painting the first minis that I’ll have painted in several years. It’d be my Fisherman Guild for Guild Ball (at least the main 7 players I choose). Wish me luck. But, in the meantime, as I contemplate making my figures look better on the table, let’s make those tables look better, themselves.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Terra-Former Passageway Tile Kit From Sally 4th, Combat Plaza: SciFi Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargames, and Brigade Models – Small Scale Walled Farms now Available.
I know, this seems like it should be a Terrain Corner type of post. But by the time we get to Thursday, it’ll be all over. So, if you want to get yourself some free terrain from Corvus Belli and Plastcraft, you’d need to go and get your name put in the hat today.
Happy Cheap Candy Day!
Quick! Before the stores swap out everything for Easter stuff, go grab yourself some red-tinted and heart-shaped boxes of goodies for less than you’d usually spend!
And with the money you saved on that candy, you can go get yourself some new terrain for your gaming table.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Heroic Maps – Day & Night: The Temple of Love Now Available, Candleholder set and kit Available From Tabletop-Art, and Deadland Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
So… it’s Monday.
Maybe we shouldn’t dwell on that, but, instead remember the games we all (hopefully) played on the weekend. Heck, my gaming started before I even left the office on Friday with a game of the Bloodborne Card Game. Then a game of Guild Ball on Saturday. Always wanting to get in more games of that. Plus, there’s always looking forward to next weekend’s games… and the terrain they’ll be using. And with that, we go to the Terrain Corner.
Today we have: Anvil Eight Previews Rhommox Faction Pylon, ShipWorks 3d Printable Ship Terrain Up on Kickstarter, Operation Alpha: SciFi Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargame, and Return Of The Gaming Mat From Battlefront.
It’s another Thursday. Still haven’t gotten a handle on Thursdays. But we’ll make it through to the weekend soon. Just gotta put our heads down and power through. It’s a quick Terrain Corner for you today.
We’ve got: Resin Cast Mob Football Goals Up On Kickstarter
Well, not every day can be the weekend, I suppose. You need a week to have a weekend. And if you have something, then you have the start of something. So, as it happens, Monday is the start of the week.
Ok, so my overly-long-winded way of saying, “It’s Monday again” is out of the way, let’s get to those terrain articles.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Sally 4th Plot Point of the Month – Chinese Altar, Hartenstein Hotel Available From Warlord Games, and Hellgate Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
Ooof, it was not the best of weekends, having been sick. Thankfully, even though it’s still pretty early in the morning (as I’m typing this up, anyway), I’m feeling better now. I think I turned a corner on it overnight. We’ll see how the rest of the day goes. I need to heal up. Gotta be ready for my friend to come over next weekend and do some gaming. Also, we’ve got our regular terrain feature for you today.
In the Terrain Corner we’ve got: Axolote Tiles Up On Kickstarter and Woodland Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
Well… I’m sick. Woke up this morning feeling worse than I went to bed last night. So, if you get a virus alert when you look at TGN today, just wipe it down with some Lysol and you’ll be fine. (ok, actually, if you get a virus alert when you open up TGN, lemme know because that means something’s seriously wrong O,o)
So, while I chug this orange juice, work on this bottle of Dayquil, and heat up another bowl of soup, you should check out these terrain articles.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Overpass Available From Battlefront, Heroic Maps – Modular Kit: Dry Ravine Bundle Now Available, New Pulp Era Caravan kit from Sally 4th, Brigade Models Releases New 6mm SF Buildings, and Heroic Maps – Drabdon City Sewer Now Available
Well, it’s back to the old grindstone. But we’ll always have the memories of the weekend that just went by. I hope you got some gaming in. I did. I tried out Photosynthesis, as well as taught Guild Ball to a friend. It was a good time had by all. But now the focus is on next weekend, and whatever cool games I’ll be playing then. They might require terrain. And, if they do, I want it to look good. So, without further ado…
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Wild West Exodus Previews New Terrain, Fantasy Flight Games Releases Playmat For Twilight Imperium, New Dunes Planet Space Gaming Mat Available From Deep-Cut Studio, and New Plastic Box Sets Available From Tabletop-Art.
The weekend’s almost here! As always, I really can’t wait. A friend’s coming in from out of town to hang out and play games for a week or so. It’s Game Day up at the Milton Library this Saturday (if you’re in the Atlanta area, be sure to stop by and say hi). Since we’ll be gaming, there will be some terrain out there. And we want that terrain to look good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: TinkerTurf Terain Up On Kickstarter, New Containers and Crates Available From Tabletop Scenics, New MDF Terrain From Pwork Wargame, North Pass Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargame, and Wyrd Previews New Terrain.
Ok, now I can finally talk about Thursday’s Terrain Corner, because it’s actually Thursday. While I still woke up thinking it was Friday, my mind’s recalibrated and it actually does feel like a Thursday (being in my Thursday shirt helps, though I was also in my Wednesday shirt yesterday and that still had me feeling off, so there’s that). Anyway, with a long weekend for many of us coming up, I hope you’ll have some time to game. And, when gaming, it’s good to have good looking gaming tables.
In the Terrain Corner today we have: New Kits Available To Pre-order From Plastcraft, New Battle Map Available For for Memoir ’44, MapForge Battle Map Creator Up On Indiegogo, and Dark Gotham Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
