What The?! Miniatures have received stock of their US Airborne Zombies from their caster.

The first set of What The?! Miniatures’ extensive Weird War II zombie line has finally arrived from the casters. The set includes 5 late war US Airborne zombies in various stages of decomposition and trauma. I should have them up on the site for sale tomorrow so if you would like to start including some non-Germans to your Weird War II zombie horde then now is the time. The set goes for $20 with $5 shipping.
Should have the next set, late war SS Grenadiers, done by the end of the month. After that we will probably do either some Russians or Brits of some kind so keep your peepers pealed as this is going to be a large line of undead.

MAJIC Miniatures have announced that they have begun work on a Weird War game and miniature range to act as an expansion for their existing WWII miniatures game.

MAJIC Miniatures is pleased to announce that we are currently developing ‘Pulp War II’ a complementary game for ‘Combined Operations of WWII’. ‘Pulp War II’ is recommended for 2mm – 6mm miniatures and will allow players to use units from one of three factions: Wunderwaffen, Supernatural Creatures, Extra-Terrestrials and Non-Humans.
We are also producing a new range of miniatures for the game which is expected to be released in 2009.
ALTERRA1 have announced the release of the first three miniatures in a new 28/30mm sci-fi range that will also be of interest to Weird War gamers.

The figures are to form part of the “ALTERRA1″ universe, whereas the main area of Sharkit is the manufacture of short-run airplane kits, mainly of exotic subjects such as X-Planes, “Luft 46″ models and early guided missiles, but also rockets and spacecraft.
Nonetheless, the 28mm range will see some more additions in the next months, and probably even more if it is well received.
Stylewise, the figures are Retro-future designs, so would work in a Sci-Fi setting (such as the ALTERRA1 universe, background fluff for which can be found on the company website) as well as for Retro, Pulp and Weird War games.

Sharkit have posted a four page PDF graphic novel introduction to their Alterra1 weird War/Sci-fi setting. The company also plans to release some 28mm miniatures soon to support the setting.
