The staff of Darkson Designs will be out of the office for a few days.

    From their announcement:

The Darkson Staff will be out of the office from Aug 3-8 doing research for the Occult Wars Expansion. We will be exploring the:

Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins: The Mundo Maya’s most famous site, Chichen Itza was founded in 445 BC and inhabited until 1204 AD when, mysteriously, it was abandoned.

The site is centered around the largest structure, the pyramid El Castillo (The Castle), which has steps that end in huge serpents heads. During the Equinoxes, these steps cast shadows which give the appearance of a great snake descending the pyramid. Other important buildings include the Observatory, the temple of Chac Mool, and the Tzompantli, a representation of the underworld.

    Pulp City/AE-WWII GenCon Events

    July 18th, 2008

Pulp Monsters has announced that it will be running some cross-over games of Pulp City and AE-WWII at GenCon Indy in collaboration with Darkson Designs.

    From their announcement:

As some of you might know, in a good comic book/pulp fashion, the Darkson Designs team and Pulp Monsters decided to have two cross-over games of AE-WWII and Pulp City at this year’s GenCon.

To celebrate this event (and hopefully more to come), Pulp Monsters will release a very special Supreme miniature.

First in the line of Pulp City Golden Age, super heroes and villains inspired by the Golden Age of Comics era, these miniatures are meant to be played in story driven games, but if your opponent agrees, there is no reason not to use them in a regular Pulp City encounter.

The games take place on Sunday:

11 AM the AE-WWII rules event
3 PM the Pulp City rules event
