Man, no day has felt entirely “right” this week. Monday was an amalgam of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Tuesday was like a Monday. Wednesday was kinda like a Friday. Yesterday was like a Saturday, but a lot busier. Today’s… still getting started, honestly. But it doesn’t entirely feel like a Friday. I guess that’s what happens when you bookend 2 days at the office with days working from home.
Well, one way that today is going to feel like a proper Friday is by serving up some bite-sized gaming stories. Also, pizza for dinner. But that’s not until this evening.
Today on the platter we have: Quizmania Coming To Kickstarter, Donate and get a Free Book From Lamentations of the Flame Princess, Expedition RPG Launches Quest-Writing Competition, New Xyston Miniatures Releases Available, Wamp releases two new 1/12th Scale busts, Pipmen Playing Cards Up On Kickstarter, Ravage: Dungeons of Plunder Coming to Kickstarter, and New Legion Armoury Releases Available From Kromlech.
With my love of giant robots, I’ve always loved Terminators in 40k. I know. I know. They’re a guy in a suit. But considering the suit-to-guy ratio there, they’re basically giant robots (I mean, Gundams are “a guy in a suit, too”). I’ve just always loved the way Terminators looked. If you’re a Terminator fan, like me, and you also like Imperial Fists, you’ll want to check out the new unit and bits available to order from Forge World.
It has been a busy week.
Work has been full of time working on (redacted). I can’t wait until I can tell you all about it. Other than that, I’m making pizza tonight. And by that, I mean I made my own sauce from scratch, and the dough ball that will be the crust is currently in the fridge, slowly rising. It’ll be brought out when I get home. The only thing I didn’t do was cure my own bacon, grind my own Italian sausage, or make my own mozzarella cheese… though I could possibly do those first two, and might at some point. And as for tomorrow, it’s Board Game Day at the Milton Library, where I’ll be playing Guild Ball and Fujian Trader. Hopefully you have your own gaming plans lined up. With all that going on, it’s best to load up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Ancestral Ruins Bases 20x20mm and 25x25mm Now Available From Tabletop-Art, Arcane Arts gets a face lift, Zen Bins Destiny Storage Trays Up On Kickstarter, Titan-forge Launches Dragon Empire Kickstarter, More Info Posted About Trollkins Indiegogo Campaign, New Ultimate Barrage Template from Pyrkol, Desert Basing Kit Available From Gale Force Nine, Khurasan releases Oceanic Republic NF range, and New Weekend Promo from Kromlech.
We’ve arrived, beautiful readers. Friday is here and we’re making our way through it to the weekend. It won’t be long now and there’ll be a couple great days of just hanging out and maybe doing some gaming. I’m happy because my friend came back from LVO and brought me the new Season 3 cards and a couple players for Guild Ball. So I’ll be assembling Granite and Veteran Siren either tonight or tomorrow, with them hopefully seeing the pitch soon. Best to make sure I’m well-fed on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: AEG Announces Thunderstone Quest Coming To Kickstarter, Sacred Sword Chibi Minis Up On Kickstarter, Nuclear Shrimp Posts Black Earth Indiegogo Preview, Tabletop-Art Releases Ancestral Ruins banderoles and symbols, Apocalyptic Upgrades Sci-Fi Minis Up On Kickstarter, Chronicles: The Game Coming To Kickstarter Later This Year, MidKnight Heroes Super Chibi Round 2 – Reboot Pledge Manager Now Open, Trollkins Minis Up On Indiegogo, 28mm Greek/Macedonian Figures Up On Kickstarter, Simeon and His Buffalo Available From Golem Miniatures, and Soviet Passenger Trays Available From Dark Art Miniatures.
The weekend is pretty much upon us. We just need to finish up this afternoon and we’ll be there. Do you have plans? I’m still unsure. Though I think I want to make a cheesecake, because it’s been a while since I’ve made cheesecake. Probably make more strawberry-lime sauce to go with it. Or maybe I’ll do raspberry-lime. I don’t know. But there’s still time to think about it. In the meantime, we gotta fill up on some bite-size gaming stories.
On the platter today we have: West Wind Productions Announces Panzer Mech Kickstarter, Ninja Division Announces Relic Knights 2nd Edition Kickstarter, Wiley Games New Home Of Fistful of Lead, New Animal Explorers From RN Estudio, Khurasan releases M1152 with canvas cover, New Releases From Hitech Miniatures, New Release from Kromlech, and Rectangular Bases on Sale From Micro Art Studio.
We’re halfway there, everyone. Midway point of the week. The weekend’s coming ever-closer. Hopefully you have some sort of gaming plans scheduled. I mean, it’s the weekend. Don’t want to just be sitting at home doing nothing (though, actually, there’s something to be said about that from time to time, too). Well, no matter what you do, we need to finish up this week first. So let’s get some energy via bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Brigade Models Release Updated Japanese Aeronef, Black Earth 28mm tabletop wargame launches on IndieGoGo in February, Purgatory is entering the final 2 weeks of Pledge Manager, Krakon Games Kickstart their Scum & Smuggler characters, Latest Releases Available From Dark Sword Miniatures, New Legionary Releases From Kromlech, Ludus Magnus Studio Announces Sine Tempore Board Game, Tabletop Tyrant Miniatures Cases Up On Kickstarter, New Releases Available From Victoria Miniatures, Khurasan releases 15mm T-64BV Tank, and Hardwood deck boxes with Illuminated artwork on Kickstarter.
And we’re already to Wednesday. It helps the week go along when you’re off on Monday.
It’s also my friend Gilbert’s birthday!
You old, dude.
Anyway, along with cake and ice cream, we should fill up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Mindwork Games New Online Store Now Open, Acheson Releases Five Dungeon Worlds Part 2 Figures, KaYo Miniatures Releases The Imitator, New Mini Battle Dice Available From Kromlech, Tabletopia Launches International Keyflower Tournament, Tabletop-Art Releases New Flagstone bases and a Monster base, Knuckleduster Miniatures Releases Five New Western Characters, New releases from Terrible Kids Stuff – First half of January 2017, New Destiny Tokens Available From Micro Art Studio, Red Panda Miniatures Webstore Now Open, and Vanguard of War Becomes Archon Studio’s Most Successful Kickstarter.
Woo! We’ve made it, everyone! At least for me, it was a nice, calm, “standard” week. As a creature of habit, I’m very grateful for that. Many of us here in the US are also getting a 3-day weekend, what with Martin Luther King Jr. Day being this upcoming Monday. So that’s cool. I hope you have some cool weekend activities planned and that today being Friday the 13th doesn’t mean anything bad for you. But as we go into the weekend, we should stock up on bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: New Ruler Designs From Kromlech, Cryptozoic Releases Mighty Meeples: DC Justice League Collection Tin, New Aufklarungs Passenger trays from Dark Art Miniatures, New Warbikes and Trikes from Raging Heroes, Rebel Minis Releases New 28mm Sci-Fi Packs, Cardstock Warriors Site is Live, Weekend Promo from Kromlech, and New Bases Available From Micro Art Studio.
We’re once more halfway through the week. So far, it’s been a pretty standard week. After the chaos of the week before, I’m not complaining about that at all. I’m also not complaining about the temperatures we’re supposed to get to today here in Atlanta. I might just open the windows when I get home. But that’s as may be. Right now, it’s time to stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Final Days for Sector 6 on Kickstarter, Acheson Releases More Dungeon Worlds Part 2 Figures, Special Artizan Service Miniatures Presents: F.U.B.A.R 28mm WW2 Rangers Kickstarter, Life of the Party Comic Up On Kickstarter, 4th Canadian Mechanised Brigade Group KickOFF, New Bedlam Release from Kromlech, Win this pre-Release Combot kit, Flatminis releases a new wave of 2D heroes, and Mighty Meeples: DC Comics Series 1 Now Available.
With the Konflikt ’47 line, Warlord Games can take a lot of their current kits, add in just a couple of extra bits, and create entirely new units out of them. Or, you can just change around some small part and suddenly a unit that’s still just like its Bolt Action counterpart now has that Weird War II feel that it needs. Well, there’s a couple new cannon turrets as well as some new heads available over in the Warlord Games webshop for you.
Well, the first week of the year is coming to a close. It’s been… an odd one. Monday I had off. Tuesday I had to take my car in for repairs (which got finished up on Thursday, since they had to order in a part). Wednesday and Thursday I had some stomach issues. Now it’s Friday and everyone here in Atlanta is bracing for a “huge snowstorm” that’s on its way. Hopefully it’s not too bad and everyone out there stays safe.
But just as everyone is stocking up on bread and milk, let’s stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories, as well as some terrain pieces from this week.
As such, we have: Flat Plastic Miniatures 2 Up On Kickstarter, New Sleeves Unlocked in Mage Company Kickstarter, New Metalized Discworld Death Bust From Micro Art Studio, New Magnetic Foil Sets Available From Tabletop-Art, Avatars of War Having Plastic Harpies Sale This Week, Brigade Models 6mm Habitation Dome Released, Heer46 launches Gebirgsjaeger Kickstarter, Molecules of Hatred: Wulfrim Irongrudge Available, and Acheson Releases More Dungeon Worlds Part 2 Figures.
We’ve got a little bit of everything from Forge World today. For those that are Lord of the Rings fans, there’s a new Hill Dwarf Unit and Command. Those that love their Imperial Knights have some new heads to choose from, as well as some waterslide transfers. Finally, if you’re wanting a reprinting of the original Rogue Trader rules, they have a contest going where you could win one.
It’s the penultimate day of the year. 2016 is on its way out. Lots of people are going to be partying about it. I’m sure some of that will include gaming. At least, I hope it does for you. Anyway, if you’re going to be partying to midnight tomorrow, you’ll want to stock up on some bite-size gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Kromlech Releases The Red Duchess, Ramshackle Games Previews Space Knight Jet Bike Rider, and
The final week of 2016 continues on. I know a lot of people are enjoying a bit of a break here at the end of the year. Many game companies are taking a little bit of time off. But that’s not to say we don’t have a good bit of bite-sized stories to snack on.
So let’s get to it.
Today we have: Tactical folding kit for board RPGs on Indiegogo, Victoria Miniatures Previews 2017 Releases, Nightmare Forest: Alien Invasion Coming to Kickstarter, Oddzial Osmy’s 3mm December Releases Arrive at PicoArmor, Advanced Deployment After Christmas Sale, New Battle Rulers Available from Kromlech, and Tercio Creativo Christmas Offer Going On Now.
Hey guys. You might’ve noticed we didn’t have a Terrain Corner yesterday. That’s because I was whisked away to help work on a super-ultra-deep-covert project. Or, being that a lot of companies are currently on holiday, there wasn’t much to report on. One of the two. Anyway, so today we’ve got a combined Terrain Corner/Friday Snippets for you.
Today we have: Coffin Set 1 Available From Tabletop-Art, Dust Town Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargames, MAGE Company launches on Kickstarter the MCG Premium Sleeves, and New Infinity dedicated 70mm Tech Round base From Micro Art Studio.
Man, it is busy over here on this side of the screen. Pretty much all week there’s been stuff going on. I’m sure that’s part of why it feels like it’s really flown by… And I’ve still not really gotten a handle on what I’m going to do with my D&D group tomorrow! Gah! There’ll be time for that later (hopefully, theoretically, grammatically, esoterically). But, if we’re to keep up our energy, we should nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Avignon: Pilgrimage Coming To Kickstarter in January, CloseYa network is open for a public beta in US, WW1 Themed Dice to be released in January from I Will Never Grow Up, Aenor Miniatures website Online, Week 3 December Deals Available From Greater Than Games, Merry Bitsmass Weekend Promo from Kromlech, and 3D Preview Posted For Ether Wars.
Today’s a day to celebrate. Why? It’s my 5th anniversary with TGN. Yes, on this day, 5 years ago, I made my first post on the site. It was the new plastic Warp Wolf kit that Privateer Press was coming out with. Oh how gaming has changed since then. I remember having a conversation, a couple months into my tenure, with Ross “The Legend” Thompson (my boss at the time) about, “These Kickstarter-things.”
So, to celebrate, let’s have a bunch of bite-sized gaming stories.
What? We do that every Wednesday? Well, fine, be that way.
Today we have: Dice Coins 2 Up On Kickstarter, I Will Never Grow Up becomes exclusive distributor of Field Marshal Games products, Ramshackle Games Posts Stretch Goal Goblin For Jet Bike Kickstarter, New Discworld Death Bust -15% discount, Factions Fantasy Playing Cards Coming To Kickstarter in January, New Releases Available From Scotia Grendel, Casual Game Revolution Posts 2017 Tabletop Gaming Conventions Map, Mage Company To Launch Sleeves and Gaming Accessories Kickstarter, Kill the Unicorns Coming to Kickstarter in June, New Morbid Legionary Torsos From Kromlech, Temple of Isis Round Lip Bases Now Available From Tabletop-Art, New Releases And Final Christmas Sale From Advanced Deployment, Flatminis 2D preprinted miniatures are now available as PDF download, Two new Characters bring gold to Talisman: Digital Edition, and Khurasan releases 15mm Hezbollah and Syrian Government Forces.
A bit of a scatter-shot set of new releases from Forge World this week. There’s some new pieces for Blood Bowl. You’ve got some new bits for your 40k armies. And there’s a new unit for The Hobbit. Pretty much all we’re missing is an Age of Sigmar release.
Is this week just rocketing by for anyone else, or just me?
I mean, it’s already Wednesday.
Well, seeing as it is Wednesday, let’s get ourselves stocked up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Public Alpha For Cold Start Posted, How to Paint Board Game Miniatures: The Beginners Guide to Painting Board Game Miniatures Now Available, Terrible Kids Stuff – Christmas 2016 releases, Battle for the Universe Coming to Kickstarter in January, Jet Bike Construction Kit Up On Kickstarter, Oddzial Osmy’s 3mm November Releases Arrive at PicoArmor, Khurasan releases two 15mm fantasy sets by Tom Meier, Final Week for The Roots of Magic On Kickstarter, Dystopian World Expansion Passes Funding Goal, Ouroboros Tales Posts New Stretch Goals, New Viking Shield Sets Available from Tabletop-Art, Brother Vinni Holiday Sale Happening Now, 15mm 1st Carlist Wars & Spanish American War (1898) back in production, and New Junk City Bases Available From Kromlech.
It’s the last day of November. We’re 11/12s of the way through the year. We just might make it after all.
Actually, I’m looking forward to this weekend. It should be a good time, as they generally are. I mean, weekend, right!?
But, before we get there, we’ve got some more days to get through. To help, we should power up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Nomad Games adds Wizards and Tricksters to Steam Early Access of Smash Up!, Introducing Boxwood Genius Dice, Digital Edition of Colt Express Now Available, New Releases Available to Order From Victoria Miniatures, WarSeer Forum Relaunches Tomorrow, New Chaos Templates From Pyrkol, Old World Leather Gaming Mats for RPG Metal Dice Rolling Up On Kickstarter, Fantasy Football teams available at Flatminis as 2D plastic miniatures, New Release: Kromlech Battle Rulers, New Statuesque Fine & Pulp Scale Female Heads – Bald on sale, Special Artizan Service Miniatures Presents: Contractor On Kickstarter, Yet More Victoria Miniatures Releases, New Release: Kromlech Wound Markers, and Ouroboros Tales 54mm Fantasy Miniatures Up On Kickstarter.
Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
Or, for those of you not in the US. Happy Wednesday!
As for me, I’m going to be busy when I get home. I need to bake another pumpkin pie, put turkey 1 into the brine bucket, speed-thaw turkey 2 (place in cold, running water for a couple hours), and make whipped cream for the pies (cream, sugar, and spices). Gonna be very busy, but should be fun. But to have enough energy for that, I need to nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: New Infinity Dice Sets From Corvus Belli, New Bases Available From Micro Art Studio, BattleScribe 2.0 Released, Dungeonland PnP is now available and Kickstarter Stretch Goals are revealed, New Alien Heads From Ramshackle Games, Okumarts Games team up with GG Studios, New Releases Available From Dark Sword Miniatures, Divine Art Playing Cards up On Kickstarter, Comrades in Battle Stretch Goal Levels Lowered, Head set Multi Pack From Ramshackle Games, NPC For Hire Game Aid On Kickstarter, New Temple of Isis Bases From Tabletop-Art, Fusion Bases by Wamp Up On Kickstarter, Highway System Coming to Kickstarter, New Female Greatcoat Troops Available From Victoria Miniatures, and New Hordes Token Sets Available From Advanced Deployment.
How’s everyone doing today? Ready for the weekend? I think I’m gonna keep mine rather chill, just putting together the last of my friend’s Guild Ball stuff. They’re already assembled. They just need greenstuff work done on ’em (filling in some small gaps, filling in the base slots, stuff like that). Other than that… not much. Plan for Thanksgiving, I guess.
But as for right now, it’s time to nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: New D&D Icons of the Realms Miniatures Starter Set Now Available, Steamforged Previews Steamcon/Black Friday Sale, Confrontation Evolution Fan-Made Rules Posted, Wamp releases Master of Roots Bust, Ever wonder what Kriegsspiel Dice looked like?, Super Chibi Round 2 – Reboot Late Pledges now open, Final Days for Portable Paint Station On Kickstarter, New Numidian Infantry Available From Victrix, Spot It! Dobble Coming Next Year, New Releases Available From Hitech Miniatures, German Language Version of Thunderbirds Board Game Up On Spiele-Offensive, and Kromlech New Release: Human Skulls.
At once, it feels both like, “wow. Already Wednesday?” and “wow. How is it only Wednesday?”
Is it that way for anyone else or just me?
I feel like I’ve gotten a lot done, but have a lot more waiting ahead of me.
Ah well. We’ll make it. Break on through to the other side. To help with that, here’s a bunch of bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Scotia Grendel New Releases – October 2016, Rebel Minis Launches Rise of the Animechs Kickstarter, Shatterlands Kickstarter Reaches Funding Goal, Xtraidos Skirmish Game Relaunching Soon On Indiegogo, Ether Wars Kickstarter Relaunch November 22nd + Giveaway starting this Tuesday, New Releases Available From Victoria Miniatures, Idea Jab Card Game Coming To Kickstarter “Pretty Soonish”, Khurasan releases 15mm Seydlitz Tank, Geek Chic Releases The Vanguard Table, Chronicles Miniatures Game Looking For Beta Testers, Brother Vinni Releases Tricycle Robot, Final Hours For Shadows of Esteren On Kickstarter, Final Days for Ninja Arena On Kickstarter, Table Air Combat: U-2 Kukuruznik Now Available, Castles & Crusades latest Kickstarter in its final week, Twisted Brothers Studio join MAGE Company, and New Breacher Bikes Available From Kromlech.
Well, we’ve made it halfway through the week. Just another half to go and we’ll be getting back to the weekend.
I know I could use to fuel up for that last push with a bunch of bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Beneath Nexus Available for pre-order November 15th, Mage Company Posts 12 Realms: Dungeonland Cover, Comrades in Battle Passes Stretch Goals, and Kromlech New Release: New Breacher Bike Patterns.
Time has been playing weird tricks this week, I feel. The first several days flew by. Thursday took an eternity. Now, today’s doing a little bit of both. I feel like it should be later than it is, so it feels like it’s been a long time since this morning… but I’ve also gotten a ton of stuff done. So I dunno. I do know that I’m possibly going to be playing some Guild Ball this evening and then some D&D tomorrow. So that’s cool. Better pack myself full of energy with some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: New Imperial Knight Heads From Forge World, Knight Models Previews Suicide Squad Dice, Kromlech New Release: Legionary Shotgun, Angels and Demons join Flatminis 2D miniatures range, Shadows of Esteren Announces Partnership with Syrinscape, Talisman is Free to Play This Weekend Only, Comrades in Battle Reaches Funding Goal, 15mm Naval Crews Range is Back From Capitan Games, and Final Days for Tavern Masters Kickstarter.
Not sure why, but this week’s been a time enigma. I woke up this morning going, “wow, already Wednesday!” But since I’ve been here at the office, it’s been the exact opposite. “How is it only 10am? I feel like I’ve been here forever!” What might help is noshing on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today in the platter we have: Brigade Models New Release Update, New Ammunition Chain Sets From Tabletop-Art, Victoria Miniatures Female Victorian Guard Now Available, Motherland Tokens now available from Advanced Deployment, Dek-Den: Deck Building Game Assistant On Kickstarter, Aenor Miniatures First Releases Now Available, Terrible Kids Stuff releases Goblin Shaman, Kromlech New Release: Legionary Heavy Thunder Gun with Heavy Flamer, Khurasan releases Tah-sig (non-humanoid alien) range, Ulisses Spiele GmbH To Take Over Publishing Fading Suns RPG, and 25x50mm flat bases Now available From Tabletop-Art.
We’ve been waiting for this all week. Or, at least, I have been. It’s Friday! Woo!
Tomorrow, for me, looks like it’s going to be filled with some cooking, because it’s some for some Halloween goodies to be made. I’m sure a lot of you have Halloween-related plans scheduled. Halloween’s all about getting bite-sized treats, so let’s do just that with some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Forge of Ice Sleazy Merchant & Sleepy Sentries on Kickstarter, Brother Vinni Releases Veteran Chaingunner, New Releases And Sale At TinMan Miniatures, Spooky Bases Halloween Sale Going On At Micro Art Studios, and Free Halloween Pack and Weekend Sale on ePic Character Generator.
We’re reaching the peak. After this, it’s a slide back down to the weekend. I’m hoping to have some friends over for gaming and cooking, as well as basically a “mini-Halloween” party (my apartment’s not really that big. Hard to have more than 4-5 people over 😛 ). There will be Cryx Necrotite Sugar Cookies, Atomic Peanut Butter Balls, and a bubbling cauldron of gumbo.
But that’s as may be. Right now, we’ve got a bunch of bite-size gaming stories to give you.
On the platter today we have: Zucati Dice: Retro Classic Pure Aluminum Dice On Kickstarter, Totentanz Miniatures to Make Corvus Belli’s 15mm Historical Miniatures Range, Purgatory Shows off 2 freshly completed models for the Kickstarter, New Swan Faction Tokens from Advanced Deployment Now Available, Ramshackle Abomination and Robot Sale, Armorcast LLC announces the Fifth Cinematic Effects Modeling Contest, Last Days To Enter Tercio Creativo’s Wipley Drawing, New Releases Available From Micro Art Studio, Ouroboros Miniatures’ First Release Now Available, 5-Minute Dungeon Coming to Kickstarter Next Week, and Era: The Consortium – A Universe of Expansions Kickstarter in the last week.
This week seems just interminable. There’s still half of today to go. I’m hoping to make it through, though. Got some plans to hang out with a good friend this evening and have some pizza (homemade, as in the crust and the sauce started as things like bread flour, Roma tomatoes, onion, and some olive oil), then hopefully do some gaming tomorrow. Tomorrow’s plans just became a bit clouded, but still hoping they work out.
Either way, filling up on some bite-sized gaming stories will help. So let’s get to it.
On the platter today, we have: Knight Models Teases Next Release, Kromlech New Release: Guardsmen Veteran Heads, Prospero Expansion Released Talisman Digital Edition, Brother Vinni’s River Fear Now Available, and Frazetta’s Masterpieces: Death Dealer Up On Kickstarter.
And we have the week continuing along. Seems this one’s going rather slowly, if you asked me. Earlier today, I looked at the clock and went, “How is it only just after 10am? I’ve been here in the office for the past 17 hours!” Note: I’d not actually been here 17 hours at that point. Just seemed like it. Perhaps snacking on some bite-sized gaming stories will help out.
Today on the platter we have: Krakon Games Running Frills & Fauna Kickstarter, Gioconomicon Posts Photos From Spiel 2016, On Target Green & Red Lasers For Line of Sight On Kickstarter, Mojo Tray System: Modular Transport On Kickstarter, New releases from Terrible Kids Stuff – First half of October 2016, New Condition Markers, Melee Widgets and Base Inserts from Advanced Deployment, The Roots of Magic: Students of Sorcery Kickstarter coming in November, Divine Art Playing Cards Relaunched on Kickstarter, and Devils Dungeon Kickstarter – Milestone Unlocked.
We’ve once more made it to the weekend.
Well, almost to the weekend, anyway. We’ve still gotta finish today. But hopefully that won’t be too painful to get through. Then… Yeah, I just love weekends. And as I’ve mentioned a couple times, tomorrow’s going to be cram-packed full of gaming. I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully your day is likewise scheduled.
But before we get there, we should fill up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: New Tau Heavy Rail Cannon Array From Forge World, Iris Coming To Kickstarter in January, Purgatory Kickstarter is close to another stretch goal, New Mk IV tank From LaserCutCard, Two New APC Turrets Available From Kromlech, and Q’thulu Mini Up On Kickstarter.
The folks over at Robot Pigeon Publishing have certainly been busy. They not only have a new issue of their flagship magazine, Figure Painter Magazine, but also of Initiative. If you’re like me and you could really use to increase your ability in painting, you’ll want to check them out. Though even if you’re regularly painting awesome pieces, there’s always something more to learn in the pages of these magazines.
Wednesday already? This week sure seems to be moving along. That’s very much not a complaint, mind you. I’ve got board game day coming up this Saturday. We’re also going to be starting our new D&D game. So I’m very much ready for it to be Saturday. But if I want to keep up this pace, I’d better refuel on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: New female Torsos and First BFG Sledgehammer Pics From Victoria Miniatures, Suede Dice Bags Up On Kickstarter, Purgatory Miniatures Up On Kickstarter, Impact! Miniatures Running Chibi Knights of the Dinner Table Kickstarter, Legionary APC Turret Lascannon With Twin Plasma Gun Available From Kromlech, Ruins of Sanctuary 25mm Bases Now Available From Tabletop-Art, Minis Production Company Up On Kickstarter, Prism: Day & Dusk Playing Cards Up On Kickstarter, HSD Anthro Sci-Fi Miniatures Now Available, Flatminis releases first monsters in their 2D miniatures range, Two More APC Turrets Available From Kromlech, and The Army Painter’s 9th Anniversary Sale Happening Now.
I don’t know about you, but my week has been busy. Lots of news. Lots of proofing projects. Lots of e-mails to reply to about a myriad of things. And tonight’s going to be busy, too. Friend’s birthday party tomorrow, so I’ll be doing some baking to take to the party. Pumpkin snickerdoodles, to be specific. I’m going to make them a lot smaller than my usual cookies I make, then make a cream cheese filling and basically make them Oreos with it. It’s the first pumpkin-flavored thing I’m making this year.
Speaking of bite-size morsels of joy, we’ve got our regular assortment of stories for you.
On the platter today we have: Kromlech New Release: Legionary Heavy Thunder Gun, Trapdoor Bringing Playbook Digital RPG Companion to Android, Mage Company launches new website for Dungeonland, Smart Device App Dized Being Soft-Launched October 2016, The Board Game Show Interviews The Donner Party Game Designer Greg Porter, New Lamia Available From Brother Vinni, Super Chibi Round 2 – Reboot Funded, Three New Mechs Available From Raging Heroes, Kromlech Weekend Promo: Orc Mech-Boss, and New Releases Available From Scotia Grendel.
Brace yourselves, everyone. The weekend is just about here. In only a couple of hours, the work week will be over and we’ll be free to have a couple days to do whatever we want. I’ve… not fully decided what I’m going to get into yet. Might just take it easy this weekend. Might have to find a new recipe to try out, though. But that’s for tomorrow. For the moment, what we have is a group of bite-sized gaming stories for you.
On the platter: Fanboy Forge Store Back Online, Cardboard Edison to Release Cobras on Kickstarter, Tabletop-Art 25mm Ancestral Ruins Bases Now Available, Raider Girl by Brother Vinni Now Available, The Army Painter Announces New Paint Sets, and Brigade Models Releases New Grav Bikes.
