Casemate Publishing have announced the release of several new titles.
From their announcement:
Stormtrooper On The Eastern Front
Fighting with Hitler’s Latvian SS
Mintauts Blosfelds, Edited by Lisa Blosfelds
Following the conquest of his native Latvia by the Nazis, the author was given the stark choice: service in the SS or forced labour in a slave camp. So he ‘volunteered’ to fight for the Nazis. He describes his training and how he became an instructor before being sent into Russia. He nearly perished during the terrible winter of 1943-44 being wounded and finding himself with his friend lying dead on top of him. As the tide turned and the Russians advanced remorselessly through. He was wounded twice more and awarded the Iron Cross for bravery. With German resistance collapsing, the author had to flee for his life - capture by the Russians meant almost certain death. He surrendered to the Americans but describes the neglect he suffered at their hands. Unable to return to Latvia now occupied by the Russians, he became a Displaced Person eventually settling in the UK.

Ambush Alley Games have sent along details of an upcoming Ambush Alley zombie expansion.
From their announcement:
I thought I’d share a sneaky little peek at the cover of a new Ambush Alley rules expansion/scenario pack to be released later in September - with plenty of time to plan for spooky Halloween game nights.
Ambush Z will contain all the rules needed to pit your Ambush Alley regulars or armed civilian survivors against hordes of the shambling (or not so shambling) dead. Included will be descriptions of four types of zombies, from the brittle Odies to the cunning and semi-sentient Dexters, along with special rules for operating in zombie infested environments.
While the expansion will include a back-story, the rules have been left generic enough to allow players to easily adapt them to the recreation of their favorite zombie movies, books, or settings. More news later as the release date draws closer - in the meantime, stock up on food, water, and shotgun shells. Zombies are inbound!

Ambush Alley Games have released a new campaign for their Ambush Alley modern skirmish rules.
From their announcement:
Return to the fictional city of Dawala and the neighboring town of Fadiz, a hot-bed of criminal as well as insurgent activity. Join 2nd Platoon in a mission to thwart the plans of a criminal cartel to plunder a nation’s cultural treasures and use the proceeds to fund insurgent operations. Gangsters, insurgents, and a statue of a winged lion-man with five legs. What more could you ask for from a mission?
Art of War is an Ambush Alley mini-campaign pack. It contains three interlocking scenarios that can be played separately or as part of a narrative campaign in which the outcome of each scenario affects those that follow it.
Art of War returns to Dawala, a fictional city introduced in The Three Block War, and the stalwart men of Lt. Meuse’s 2nd Platoon.
Dawala might be a trouble spot anywhere in Iraq, Afghanistan or, with a little tweaking, nearly any other trouble-spot in the world. Likewise, the details of “2nd Platoon” have been left purposefully vague – it might be a platoon of US Rangers, British Marines, or soldiers of any of the many nations currently involved in hot, distant places.
Art of War can be purchased in PDF format for $10usd.

Ambush Alley Games have extended their Big Summer Bundle Sale.
From their announcement:
Generation Kill has come along on HBO and stirred up so much interest in modern counter-insurgency in the Middle East that it seems like a slap in our potential customers’ collective face to kill the Big Summer Bundle Sale now. So, being the stand-up guys we are, we’ve decided to extend the sale until after the 7th and final episode of Generation Kill has aired on HBO.
So - You can still pick up the core Ambush Alley rule book, the Motor Pool vehicle expansion, and The Day of the Rangers scenario pack/rules expansion for Mogadishu for the low, low price of $30usd.
This set contains everything you need to recreate the kind of fierce and chaotic asymmetrical engagements portrayed in the book and series - the core rule-book alone contains ten scenarios based on the march up to Baghdad and the early days of the occupation of Iraq. If you like Generation Kill, the chances are you’ll love Ambush Alley.

Sally White of Hasslefree Miniatures writes:

Lots of updates gone onto the workbench recently and more on their way. In fact we have quite a backlog for production right now with 28 figures just gone to Griffin for master-moulding and at least another 15 to go in the next two weeks. We shall be releasing them in batches every 4-6 weeks forever. Why such a backlog? No, I haven’t been feeding Kev any ’super-dooper-sculpt-like-crazy’ potions, it is just that I have been ill again and things just sorta pile up.

PicoArmor/Oddzial Osmy have announced a new North American stockist.
From their announcement:
PicoArmor is pleased to announce that Village Games in Anoka, MN is our new stocking retailer. Village Games has placed a wide selection of the 3mm Modern and WW2 product in stock, and they are selling briskly.
Village Games’ owner, Dan Hobot, commented “The O8 stuff has been a big success. We have sold over two dozen packages in the first couple of weeks alone. That is the fastest any new product for us has caught on.”
Dan continues, “We sold at least another dozen or so packs over the weekend, and have had new customers visit the shop because they saw the announcement on our web page. This is all without the most common parts of WWII even covered yet. I think the sales on these will just keep growing as O8 brings more and more models to market.”
Village Games is continually broadening its stock. All of the more popular models will be on hand in the coming months. Of course, any model is available through special order.
The Village Games’ web site features some painted and based 3mm miniatures in their gaming blog – check out the Mi-24 Hind helicopters, they are fantastic. We would like to encourage our fellow 3mm enthusiasts to visit Village Games and check out some of these finished 3mm miniatures.
