Umm… read that like Elton John.

Today we have: Unearth, Zooscape, Moonquake Escape, Balloon Pop, Purrrlock Holmes, Neuroshima Hex: Death Breath, Deadline, The Butterfly Garden, Sagrada, Mow Money, Century: Spice Road, Slide Blast, Power Play, Monopoly Gamer, and Gang Rush: Breakout.

Fantasy Flight Games Previews Red Characters From Empire at War Expansion for Star Wars: Destiny

You know, there’s a big difference when previewing items. By that, I mean, if some company were to show you 1/10 of a new figure they were working on, you’d get, like, a kneecap or something. If someone were previewing their new rules set, but only showed you 1/10 of it, you might get a page or two. In this preview for Empire at War, the upcoming Star Wars: Destiny expansion, Fantasy Flight is showing off 14 cards. That’s less than 1/10 of the 160 cards coming in the set, but it certainly feels like a huge preview. In this case, it’s various red cards.

Mage Company Acquires Goblin Dice From Gaga Games

Got another of those “games changing hands” stories for you. This time around, it’s Mage Company. They’ll be taking over Goblin Dice from Gaga Games. In the game, you play as a goblin in a race. But it’s not just making sure you beat your opponents, it’s about making sure you’re not crushed by the magic boulder that’s chasing after all of you (talk about motivation!).

On a distant and remote planet sits a monolith. Nobody’s quite sure how long its been there or who put it there, but from it comes various forces that are said to control the cosmos. New Star Wars: Destiny Set Announced By Fantasy Flight Games

Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Yeah, I just got a little giddy there, too. I might just have to build me a Star Wars: Destiny deck that has him as one of the characters. I’ll be able to do so once Star Wars: Destiny’s newly-announced set, Empire at War, hits store shelves. That’s going to be sometime in the 3rd quarter of this year.

Well, it’s almost like the week is getting back on schedule, even though it’s Saturday. I woke up. I got groceries. Fantasy Flight Games Previews Blue Villains from Spirit of Rebellion

Power has a tendency to corrupt those with it. If you are a Force-user and you succumb to corruption, you’re on a train headed right to the Dark Side. But hey, shooting lightning out of your hands is pretty cool, if you ask me. I’d do it, if I could. Anyway, Spirit of Rebellion for Star Wars: Destiny will expand the options for Dark Side players to add some Force-users and Force powers to their decks.

Who wouldn’t want to be nobility? You get titles and land and prestige and the tabloids following you around all over everywhere. I’m allergic to bee stings. Not terribly. I don’t carry an EpiPen or anything. But when I get stung, it’s not just some mild pain like some get. So I tend to steer very clear of them. Thankfully, a game like Beeeees from Action Phase Games doesn’t include any real bees. Instead, it’s got a bunch of dice and tiles. It’s also up on Kickstarter now.
