Drone warfare is becoming more and more prevalent in today’s world. So in the far-off future, with technology advancing at such a rapid pace as it tends to do, it’s only natural to figure that they’ll play an even bigger role in the warfare that takes place, say, beyond the gates of Antares. And it’s just that that we have today, as Warlord Games has started taking pre-orders for their new C3M4 Combat Drone for Beyond the Gates of Antares.

The C3M4 is usually armed with a plasma cannon and plasma light support, which gives it the ability to take on both enemy troops as well as lighter enemy vehicles. However, it can also be armed with a Fractal Cannon or a Compression Cannon, depending on what command thinks it might encounter during its patrols. And despite being a heartless robot drone, that doesn’t mean it can’t get lonely. That’s why it’s always seen palling around with a pair of buddy drones.

You can order yours over in the Warlord Games webshop now.

It is a pretty solid game. I’ve only played about six games but they were all fun. It is NOT scifi Bolt Action. It has a few similarities such as the order dice but that is about it.

I a!m building armies now. I have read the rules and it seems like it will be a lot of fun. It is a lot like bolt action.
