I have a friend who is a bird watcher. *waves to PA*
I’d love to have his eyesight. He can spot and identify birds at a distance where I go, “Yup… that’s a dark speck, alright.” Well, you don’t have to have PA’s eyesight in order to play Birds and Squirrels. It’s a new, push-your-luck card game up on Kickstarter.
The game’s rules are very simple. You’re looking to have the most birds sitting on your power line. You do this by flipping cards over from the communal deck. The types of cards are birds (good), empty spots (not terrible, but not worth any points), squirrels (bad, as they scare off your birds), and hawks (very bad, since they scare off everyone’s birds). You can try and fill up your line with all birds you can, but you gotta know when to quit, or you’ll end up with an empty line.
The Kickstarter campaign is up and running now. They’re about 1/5 of the way to their goal with still 24 days left to go.
